The property is within 5 minutes walking distance to the Shuttle bus to Mont San Michel and 8 minutes to a few restaurants. The back garden offers a clear view of the Abbey too!
But what made tour stay special was Veronique the hostess, who made us feel very welcomed with her sincere & eager attitude to ensure that we are comfortable and happy!
She would make recommendations as to where to go for dinner, best time to catch the tides coming in at MSM and even makes yummy croissants or crepes for breakfast.
Merci beaucoup to Veronique for making our 2 nite stay enjoyable and memorable!

Tout est fait pour se sentir comme à la maison. Véronique est une hôte accueillante, souriante et attentionnée. Chambre d’hôte très bien située à proximité du mont St Michel et des navettes pour visiter à pied et sortir dîner. Chambre spacieuse et confortable.

This was the perfect B&B for visiting st Michel. Very nice staff, very clean, very comfortable, good enough breakfast. Close to restaurants and bus stop for st Michel. The owner was specially nice, as she showed us around and was very welcoming.

I believe this is the closest to Mont St Michel one can stay without being on the island itself. Close to (free) shuttle buses and if one wants to walk only a 30 minute walk to the entrance. Great breakfast, comfortable room and wonderful hostess.

La Jacotière is a family B&B where the owner tries to make her guests feel at home. The location is truly enviable, with 2 gardens overlooking Mont Saint Michel. The rooms are spacious and with everything you need to have a good stay. However, we did not find the bed and pillows comfortable. The structure is a little dated, but it is well maintained, although the area outside at the back where the tables are located could certainly be a little more cared for. Having a private car park practically close to the barrier is certainly a plus, as is having a kitchen with a fridge organized for the various rooms and even a dishwasher.
Being early risers, we weren't able to really try the breakfast which starts shortly after 8.30 and the lady was kind enough to prepare us something to take away, even if in reality on the second day we only had 1 boiled egg and 2 kiwis to share two..
Having said that I would definitely recommend it.
