I was hesitant to stay here during my Camino hike last night after reading the recent negative Google reviews mentioning bed bugs (and hostel owner responding to arguing with these reviews), but due to the good location and rate decided to give it a chance. Things seemed fine at first, the woman who checked me in was very nice. Sure enough, I woke up in the middle of the night super itchy with red bumps and spotted a bed bug on the sheets. I spent the rest of the early morning washing and disinfecting my things and subsequently left. I notified the owner, Manuel, of the situation in the morning. He proceeded to deny the possibility immediately, argue with and blame me, asking why I didn’t simply go stay in another empty bed, saying that they treat and exterminate every day and there’s no chance of bed bugs (but also asking if I killed the bug and scolding me when I said no). It was very odd interaction, being disbelieved by the host. While I’m certain they were bed bugs as I’ve staying in plenty of hostels and encountered them before, the host continued to deny this or offer any help. I left under the impression they will not be closing the bed to other guests. Based on reviews from the past year though, this is an ongoing issue. I’d highly recommend steering clear of this hostel for a while until they can resolve the situation.

Clean. Comfortable beds. Quiet. Nicely arranged so you’re not in other peoples faces. Very friendly staff. Safe area. Convenient for restaurants and shops. You get your own sheets. Lockers with key in cubicle. Curtains for privacy. Bathroom and showers very good. Laundry facilities. ✅

Muy limpio y perfecto para un buen descanso de peregrino. Se sitúa Justo en el camino y tiene muy buena ubicación. El administrador Manu es muy majo y da un trato excelente, además, nos ha recomendado un sitio perfecto para comer.
