Brief one night stay here but good enough room. Paying extra for a terrace was worth it for some fresh air although it’s enclosed by walls so a little claustrophobic. Bathroom could do with better maintenance as shower tiles had black mould on them. Although we’d paid for breakfast we had to leave too early so took the packed breakfast instead. This wasn’t great, soggy sandwiches and croissants. Excellent location.

Outstanding service by Sofia M and her Guest Relations Team!!!! Room spacious and the Balcony was an added bonus. Caring and helpful staff thruout......quaint location and close to everything, easy walk to the Marina and shops and the street the hotel is located on hosts some great restaurants. Friendly and helpful staff, they take care of every detail.....they made our stay an amazing experience, beautiful island, Ponta Delgada has been on my wish list and it did not disappoint. I didn’t sleep for more than an hour as you could hear bar noise until 4am every night. I asked to change rooms but they were apparently full. They said they’d move me up a floor but still at front of hotel so didn’t see the point. I did request a quieter room when booking. Car park was full when we arrived and when we did get a spot, it was almost impossible to park. Awful. I was exhausted as I didn’t sleep a wink. Actual hotel and staff were nice though. Made me cut my holiday short and book a flight home as I was exhausted.

This is a nice mid-range hotel, well situated for exploring Ponta Delgada. The room was clean and comfortable and the staff were extremely helpful (including arranging a taxi and take away breakfast on the day I had a very early flight). He only drawback is the noise from the local bar, which had loud music and raucous singing until 2am on Sunday morning.

We REALLY enjoyed staying at the Casa! Sophia directed us to a different room on nights 2 and 3 and we couldn't have been happier with her recommendation.
She and the rest of the staff are delightful. Breakfast was lovely and gave us a super start to our days.

Excellent for a longer stay in PDL
We stayed in the 4th floor suite which had not one but two terraces. The room was huge, comfortable and had everything we needed. The kitchenette with induction hob and microwave is useful for preparing meals in the room although we think the fridge didn’t work unless you have the key card in the room for electricity. Nicely decorated as is although some more colour/wall decorations would make the place feel a bit more lively. The reception staff are friendly and helpful, especially when we asked them to book the excellent spa with jacuzzi. Breakfast was nothing out of the ordinary but fine. Location is very convenient right in the centre of PDL with many bars and restaurants around.

Great hotel right in the centre of the town. Sophia was a great help at the desk too with getting us reservations and calling us cabs. The hot tub and sauna was by reservation which was nice so you get it all to yourself. And theres a nice cafe and bar across the way from the hotel so you can get a close final drink for the night.
