The glamping experience exceeded our expectations. The tents are well-equipped and very comfortable. The starry sky and ocean views from our small private terrace outside the tent were simply magical. We greatly appreciated Sofia and Nuno's attentiveness in welcoming us and throughout our stay! The breakfast was very good! The establishment is very organized and clean! I highly recommend it because it's a peaceful place close to the most beautiful beach on the island!

If you’re a budget traveler this is a reasonable option on Porto Santo Island. But there are a few things they should improve. They charge 10 euros for a breakfast that is worth maybe 3 euros. It was laughable how poor the value was. And the grounds were not well kept with visible litter that should have been cleaned up. Over all I give this place 2 out of 3 stars.

Loved it all! The kindness and care of the entire staff, shout out to Sofia, Nuno, Adelaide and Solange. The amazing sea view, the short distance to the beach (just across road), the space in the room with coffee, tea and nice ceiling fan. Electric bikes, awesome kayak tour and van tour around the island. The vibes were excelent in the common areas too. Wish I could go back now! Next time I am trying the new glamping tents.

The staff was spectacular! Sofia, Nuno, Solange, and Adelaide made us feel at home from the very first moment. The facilities exceeded our expectations, and we were given excellent tips on how to explore the island. I highly recommend it for families and solo travelers. We will be back.

Dishonest owner, avoid this establishment! I booked a 2-night stay at this establishment located on the island of Porto Santo, accessible by ferry or plane from the island of Madeira. I made my reservation via B*****g.com without taking the free cancellation option since I was sure I wanted to go. Unfortunately, the ferry we were supposed to take notified us the day before for the next day that all trips for the next day and the day after were canceled due to Storm Nelson! It was therefore impossible for us to go to the island of Porto Santo and I asked the establishment to kindly accept an exceptional cancellation of our reservation without charge since we were absolutely not responsible for the bad weather conditions :( But the owner did not accept, making me believe that he did not have the capacity to cancel the reservation without charge on B*****g when it is entirely possible when it is an exceptional request! He offered me a change of date, but living in France, it is obvious that I will not be able to easily make the trip back to Porto Santo and that it would cost me too much! In short, I find it very unfortunate to be so unempathetic and to refuse a cancellation when the room has certainly been re-let since the customers already present on the island were stuck there! This ruined my trip, my budget and the idea I had of the inhabitants of Madeira and Porto Santo who are ultimately very dishonest with tourists :(

The manager of the Sofia Hotel is absolutely not accommodating. If you have the slightest problem with your reservation, no amicable solution will be offered. The cancellation of my reservation (€250) without fees was refused (provided that it was requested 26 hours after my reservation and not within 24 hours according to their conditions) and the room for the same period is currently re-let for €450!

The best price vs hotel services in Porto Santo. Without any extra charges you get an access to the kitchen with all you need there. The one often the best beach is around the corner and public transport stop is close too. Additionally you will also get a discount to multiple tours organised by the same company owning the hotel.

Everything was literally perfect: every one from hostel crew where very nice and kindly specially Sofia and Nuno they were very friendly and professional. Very nice breakfast for good money, best beach on the island 3 minutes away from hostel, what else are you needing
