Residence Concaverde

Liebe Frau Concaverde, ich möchte mich für die schöne Zeit bedanken die ich in Ihren Haus verbringen durfte. Gastfreundlichkeit und erholsamer Park mit Tennisplätzen und Swimmingpool hat mir sehr gefallen. Ich komme bestimmt wieder. Liebe Grüße aus Hamburg, I. Eisler

As soon as we arrived, we immediately noticed how horrible the room was... like we found live and dead bedbugs, a white stain on the sofa bed, and the mattress under the sofa bed was full of dust and hair. There was a sticky stain on the bedroom curtain. We immediately went to ask if we could change rooms. They offered us two other rooms, but unfortunately, they were in exactly the same condition. In one of these two, we found a fairly large spider in the bedroom. After that, we decided to leave and go home, ruining our long-planned New Year's Eve. The owners' responses, after showing them the photos, were "a spider can be removed, what's the problem?" Or "Guys, for what you paid," I'll start by saying we paid €400. The other response was "the cleaning lady can't move everything," and as a final retort, "if you don't like it, go elsewhere." Our money was refunded, and that's how we left. I advise everyone to be careful with BOOKING because the reviews on BOOKING are all positive.

Das Hotel bietet einen wunderschönen Aussenbereich und einen schönen Poolbereich. Das Hotel versprüht einen authentischen 70er Jahre Retro-Charme, im guten aber leider auch im schlechten Sinne. Treppenhaus und Flure müffeln und sind nur spärlich beleuchtet. Unser Zimmer im Dachgeschoß war zwar groß und in Ordnung, aber die Einrichtung (Kühlschrank, Schränke, Bad) hat auch schon das ein oder andere Jahrzehnt auf dem Buckel, wie gesagt, dass hat alles seinen Charme, aber man muss es mögen und dafür auf einen gewissen (zeitgemäßen) Standard verzichten. Leider war es während unseres Aufenthalts sehr heiß und schwül und im Dachgeschoß war es gefühlt noch wärmer. Eine Klimaanlage gibt es nicht und lüften hat die Temperatur leider nicht angenehmer gemacht. Fazit, dass Hotel ist charmant, wenn man dafür offen ist, aber wir würden hier nicht nocheinmal buchen.

We were supposed to stay four nights, but it turned out to be a nightmare, so we left on the second day, knowing we'd lose the money we'd already paid for two nights at check-in. We arrived in scorching heat, and the room was already unbearable. There was no air conditioning or mosquito nets. When we asked for a fan after a nightmarish first night of being unable to sleep due to the heat and insects, we were told that all the fans were already used and that we could open the window to get some fresh air. The place is very old and gloomy, with sockets from the 1970s and 1980s. I don't even know if there's a circuit breaker. Places like this shouldn't even be open. We stayed here because they were the only pet-friendly residence still available... but they have absolutely nothing for pets! Basically, just a bowl of water at the entrance. Our room didn't even have a balcony where the dog could go out. There was a garden, but at 8:00 PM it was completely closed to everyone, so the dog was forced to do his business elsewhere, which was difficult since there are no dog-friendly gardens nearby. Dogs are not allowed in the pool (it's small) and are forced to stay tied up in a sort of gazebo. We were absolutely not satisfied. The location is isolated, with absolutely nothing around! Don't go there. We spent the remaining two nights in a beautiful 4-star hotel for almost the same price, although one of the nights was Ferragosto.
