The hotel is located next to a rice field, and it is very leisurely to eat breakfast just facing the pastoral scenery. The room decoration and facilities are relatively simple, but with ironing board and iron, the basic functions are available. This is the worst place I have ever been to. We stayed at Trinco for 2 nights and traveled to Polonnaruwa and had to stay in Polonnaruwa because we got a bit late. This is the only place that we could find last minute. The pictures look very nice for the price, so we made a reservation. We got the VIP room because that is the only one left. The room was terrible. The bathroom stank when we first enter. The toilet paper roll was green in color with fungus. Also, there was a frog in the bathroom. We complained and they cleaned it again. But they clearly didn't know how to clean a bathroom properly. We actually thought of finding another place but we stayed here as it was very late. We couldn't stay inside as the room was not clean so we spent some time outside the room. That's when this terrible incident happened. There was a big family of about 10 people with kids. They also had complained about the cleanliness of the rooms. (Obviously) Suddenly a person in black came (sounded like the owner and looked like a drunk politician) and started a fight with the family about complaining about the room. The fight went for about half an hour and he asked the family to leave. The family left as soon as possible. This is such a terrible place. Don't go unless you need this kind of drama.
