Mariela Hotel Apartments

Just back from here , it's a nice hotel, people are lovely , Room was spotless, felt very welcoming and most importantly safe , the owners are very hardworking people and very lovely, it's definitely a place to go a chill out

Just stayed one week in Mariela Hotel. Good value. Family run. The room was comfortable with a large, new bed, full size fridge and ample storage space, and it was serviced daily. No issues with the accommodation, I would happily return, but as a non-smoker I found it unpleasant to be passively inhaling cigarette smoke from guests on adjacent balconies when I sat out on my balcony. Also, I think the hotel should advise guests to keep noise levels down on balconies after midnight - one set of guests clearly had no consideration for others by talking and swearing loudly on their balcony until 2am on my second night. Otherwise, the majority of guests were regulars at the hotel and no trouble at all!

We are half way through our weeks stay here and I have r§o say it’s been wonderful. Rooms; basic but beautifully clean. Fridge and kettle provided. Air conditioning is available but has to be paid at the rate of 5€per day but definitely worth it ! Bathrooms are clean and tidy and rooms are cleaned daily. Towels provided Pool area ; spotlessly clean lots of sun beds lovely pools and close to the bar too! Bring your own towels ! Service and staff ; super friendly helpful and always around. General ; this lovely little hotel is extremely pretty and full of flowers. It is immaculately clean and because it is just a little hotel everyone is chatty and friendly too. Staff are just lovely people. Food ; we only eat breakfast here but the breakfasts are great value for money and enough choice from fruit to cereal to cooked full English. Recommendations ; bring beach towels. Lots of suncream. Explore Polis. It’s very pretty and there are lots of tavernas in the square which is a 5 minute walk away from the hotel.eating out is not costly and the food is outstanding locally. Staff and owners of the tavernas are friendly too. Overall ; a unique experience in a super friendly boutique hotel. Lovely and quiet and relaxing. Great amenities all round. Car hire is easy and relatively cheap. The town of Latchi is only 5 minutes away and has loads of trips boat hire etc available at the beautiful harbour. Highly recommend this super little family run hotel.

We stayed at the Mariela for a week in june. We hadnt been to Cyprus before, but we will be going back, and would stay in the Mariela again. Pambos and his team really make you feel welcome, he takes time out to have a chat with you throughout the day. Bar prices are very reasonable as is the food. Other holiday makers quite pleasant. My only gripe is the time the facilities management team start ringing your bell. I appreciate they have a long day ahead of them, but 8am is no time to be getting woken up, especially on holiday and after a session of Costa's rose. We would return in a flash though. Lovely place

The hotel is located near old town with easy walking to lots of places to eat etc . It is a few mins walk to big supermarket and bakers too - so you won’t starve! The greeting is genuine and warm. The place is clean and room is large and functional . It’s not the Ritz and does not have the frills or expansive buffet breakfast of a 5 star hotel but you are not paying for it too, All in all we had a nice stay in a good location which was good value. It is clean and welcoming but not fancy . We would go back as hailing from Yorkshire appreciate value for money!

I came here two years ago and decided to come back for two weeks. If you want peace and quiet you can't go wrong with Polis. The Mariela once again gave me exceptional value for money. The owners have revamped the rooms. Everything in my spacious room was brand new, beds, furniture, fridge and microwave. Thanks to the cleaning staff, always cheerful and they work hard. Also the Russian lady on reception at night is a professional masseuse. Worth every penny, my back has been pain free without meds for a week now. Thank you all for a really relaxing holiday.
