The resort is located in the mountains outside Pokhara, built on a large flat land halfway up the mountain, overlooking the steep canyon. When the weather is clear, you can see the Fishtail Peak directly. It is a good place to see the snow-capped mountains. The rooms are relatively large and clean, with complete facilities. The service staff is very warm and friendly. The rich breakfast can be eaten on the outdoor lawn, and you can spend a leisurely day slowly. However, the transportation of the resort is very far from the city. It is difficult to arrive from the airport through the countryside and along the winding mountain road. The resort provides airport pick-up and drop-off services, sending guests to the lake in the morning and picking them up from the lake in the evening. You need to take a taxi for the rest of the time, but because the location is relatively remote, our taxi got lost when returning to the resort at night, and it took nearly two hours to come back. If you go to Pokhara for tourism experience, this resort may not be your best choice.

From the moment you arrive and are greeted with a cool towel and a drink to cool down after a hot journey, Sunset Resort nails it. The resort is stylish and the rooms are spacious. The location is awesome, offering panoramic views of the Annapurna Range from you balcony, or the pool if you like. The staff are welcoming, professional and nothing is too much trouble, with the standard response to any request being 'no problem, I will bring it. NO worries, I will arrange it. No problem, we will drop you off and pick you up' etc. The breakfasts are amazing. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back next time we're in Nepal.

Great breakfast, Great staff, Nice clear room with view of pokhara weather coperates. Pokhara has limited upscale properties - this met the bar. Authentic Nepalese cuisine. Fun (they cross a low rise river :)) and free ride to city once a day and airport transfers. Having said that if you want any night life or jump in and out between hotel and toursit areas - this is not the place. It is much outside of the city on a nice hill.

It was a place where I felt real physical and mental peace. During my solo trip, I first stayed in a hotel in the city center, and then I came to this quiet and lovely hotel. It was a strong contrast. The staff and the person in charge of the hotel are very kind. Although it was not full of guests at this time, you will feel the meticulous care and warm atmosphere.

Although the path to Sunshine resort may be rocky, trust me when I say our stay was smooth. The room’s were spacious and neat. The staff are courteous and helpful and catered to our food preferences. Roshan and Keshav were extremely accommodative, tending to our needs. Would highly recommend this resort for families and couples!!!

very nice hotel with very very helpful staff who all time smile to you , the manager feel very responsible about your comfort , the room is very big and very well design . the view from the balcony is very nice and beautiful , a pool is there with a fresh water and you can swim in every time you want . the restaurant is very well design with a variety of food which you can choose and the staff prepare it fresh i really like this accommodation and i think every one have to see it although it is far from the city but the manager arrange a transfer free of charge to and from the lake site and city one a day and also the transfer to or from airport is available thanks to all of smiley and kind staff and special thanks to the hotel owner and hotel manager do not forget to walk around the hotel to the hill near the hotel it is very pleasant
