I really liked staying for four months in top choice guest home. The family truly felt like my family. They are very welcoming and kind people. If you want, you can also eat Dal Bhat with them. I recommend doing that. You won’t regret it. Next to that, the guestfather always knows where to go if you want to book something. He helps you to get the best price. This way, you don’t have to care about anything. The rooms are comfortable. The bathroom is a little small, but you can perfectly share it. They reguraly clean the room. The rooftop is also a big bonus here. It’s the perfect place to do your laundry (a washing machine is normally available), eat breakfast, do some yoga, enjoy the sun … The location is a bonus to. You are very close to the lake and several eating spots. The new road is a little further, but doable by foot. If you travel through Nepal, this really is the best choice.

Khem and his family are excellent hosts and their hospitality is unmatched. When you stay here you are part of the family and they will do anything they can to let you have the best possible vacation.

From the very first moment I felt at home here. The family: Khem, Susma and the children are the sweetest people I have met in Nepal. I have been staying here since February and I couldn't imagine a better place to stay. The rooms and bathrooms are very clean and the homestay is very well maintained. There is wifi, hot water, a fan and a rooftop with a swing that I have been able to rest in many times. If you are looking for a place to stay that is very clean surrounded by a warm family, close to everything from shops to bars, then I highly recommend this place. Khem takes good care of you and is always ready to help you with anything. I feel very safe and happy here! I am very grateful for their hospitality and kindness. If I come back to Pokhara, I will definitely stay back in top choice!

This is not a guesthouse but a real guesthome. Khem, Susma and their children really feel like family. I can always ask for help and i never feel lonely. Their rooftop is a great place to relax and has a great view. The rooms are very clean and have everything they need. Susma cooks delicious food. They'll do everything to make you feel good and at home. If I come to Nepal again I will definitely visit Khem and his family. They will always have a place in my heart. I don't think their is a better place to stay in Phokara then with this family.

AMAZING!! This was my third visit and stay with hosts Khem and Susma at Top Choice Guest Home! I cannot speak more highly of this boutique family-owned and operated guest house, every time I stay I leave relaxed and humbled by their kindness. The rooms are very clean and spacious with modern western ensuite bathrooms, you are not only invited into their guest home but into their family also.
