It was a simple inn by the lake.
I went there in the middle of summer, and when I entered the room, I found that there was no air conditioning. I couldn't sleep in the heat, so I asked for a cancellation on the day without a refund, which I felt bad about.
The room was a lovely room on the second floor with a view of the lake, in the building on the right side of the property. I couldn't stay there, though.
However, I made a last-minute reservation at a hotel across the road, which was expensive, but had air conditioning but no meals, so I managed to eat at this youth hostel.
The dining room was cozy, half-open to let in the outside air, and there was a hammock, so I was able to relax (^_^) The murals on the walls were lovely.
Above all, the man who seemed to be the owner or manager was a wonderful person who was brisk and reliable, and he praised me, saying that all the Japanese people he had ever met were honest.
The cook was also very nice.
The food, dal bhat, was delicious (*^^*)
I left my watch behind when I first entered the room, and the owner kindly handed it over to the bus driver who was coming to Kathmandu, for which I am very grateful.
Maybe it was because my partner was Nepalese that we were able to work together. Thank you so much for your kind consideration.
I hope to meet all of you again.
