Excellente chambre d'hôtes. Endroit magnifique, idéalement situé, à deux pas du centre ville (réellement). Accueil charmant, petit déjeuner sucré très complet. Échanges enrichissants avec la propriétaire. Très bons conseils de restaurants.

Perfect place to stay - only pity was I wasn't there longer. Emma and Thomas have the most beautiful house (not Marc's!!) and I can't wait to go back when I'm not working. I was so well looked after, the bed and shower were great and brekky was fab too with home made jam!

Excellent emplacement. Au coeur du vieux Poitiers. Accueil très chaleureux. Très grande disponibilité de la maîtresse de maison. Lit queen size de grande qualité. Chambre haute de plafond. Chambre décorée avec beaucoup de goût. Très bon petit déjeuner.

We stayed at the Maison de Marc for one night in 2016 and returned in 2022 for 3 nights. The new proprietor, Emma Marchadier, does a wonderful job with this small gem of a place. With only 3 rooms, it has a personal feel to it. The rooms are beautiful furnished with high quality furnishings and decor, and very comfortable beds. The bathroom is big and well equipped. A delicious and plentiful breakfast is served each day, including local products and some of Emma's own baked goods. Emma knows Poitiers well and was a great resource for restaurant recommendations and tips on things to see and do in Poitiers. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Maison de Marc and recommend it highly! Many people pass through Poitiers and may just stay one night (as we did the first time) but it's a great city to explore and enjoy over a few days, while staying in delightful accommodations. It's not teeming with foreign tourists and is a nice way to experience "real" France.
