Good hotel for one night for 2 adults and a child. The child's bed is a junior bed and therefore quite small in size. The toilet seat hits the soap dish which is too long, it is not suitable...
Dinner very good. We benefited from a promotional offer for the evening dinner, €1 per child's meal and free children's breakfast!
The receptionist gives the child a gift bag on arrival, it's nice.

DISAPPOINTING
Very tired & dated rooms, no restaurant facilities however they could warm up a lasagne! Can’t get anything other than a soft drink unless you ordered food. Went for breakfast just before 9 but they seemed more focused on clearing it all away ASAP. Have stayed in numerous Campanile over the years but this one is in need of a good makeover.

J'ai payé pour une chambre rénovée, 90 pour une chambre double comme mis sur les photos " rénovée " et il avait possibilité de 80e une chambre non rénovée vu les photos egalement. J'ai eu une chambre non rénovée pour personne à mobilitée reduite... mini baignoire avec rideau vis toutes rouillées qui sortes de la rembarde de la baignoire, chevilles qui sort de 3cm du mur de la chambre, mini vieille télé, lit à hauteur de mollets, odeur désagréable dans la salle de bain. J'aurais pris la chambre à 80 à la rigueur je n'aurais rien dis mais il faut indiquer photos non contractuelles alors ou expliqué pourquoi cette difference de prix.
Cette hotel ne vos pas un 2 etoiles niveau hotel, le resto à l'air pas mal mais vu mon expérience pas eu l'envie de rester pour le diner.

La literie était propre et les meubles ont été renouvelés mais il faudrait assurer la maintenance des locaux (plinthes abîmées, cadavres de mouches dans les luminaires sur le mur. Le restaurant n’a plus de cuisinier depuis 3 mois. C’est la personne chargée de l’accueil qui fait le service et la cuisine avec un collègue. On vous sert des plats dits traiteur en conserve ou surgelés réchauffés au micro ondes. Le personnel ne s’en cache pas. Les portions servies sont insuffisantes. La sauce qui accompagne le peu de poisson qu’on m’a servi est industrielle et immangeable. C’est degueulasse. La carte de vins existe mais plus les vins. C’est cher pour ce que vous avez dans votre assiette. Ce restaurant devrait faire appel à Philippe Etchebest pour participer à l’émission télévisée « cauchemar en cuisine ». Il y a peu de clients. À fuir.

I wish I’d read the reviews before booking! Our room was freezing cold and damp, apparently the air con was working okay (?) but it wasn’t providing any heat to the room that you’d notice, and so we were provided with an electric heater, which we had to keep on continuously to overcome the damp, which you could smell in the whole room. We stupidly prebooked the meal deal for convenience after driving down thru France, and our main course (frozen pizza) was inedible, no mention was made of the fact we hadn’t eaten them tho . During the night I developed an ‘upset stomach’ which persisted into the next day, who knows if it was related but it just confirmed that we would never return! We’d stayed at Campanile in Rouen the night before and it couldn’t have been more different on many levels.
