This was simply the best bed and breakfast we have stayed in. Philippe was so welcoming, and gave us plenty of information about Poitiers, which was a short walk in to the centre from the house. The garden is delightful, the room was beautifully decorated, immaculately clean and very comfortable, with a view over the river. Breakfast was delicious, homemade jams, homemade yogurts and matured goats cheese, with breads and croissants, and an egg dish from his own chickens, all dressed with his home grown herbs and flowers. We were even given a gift bag on departure with artisan soaps in it. Philippe is an advocate for environmental matters, and he runs the house as sustainably as he can. We would certainly stay here again if we are in the area, and would highly recommend you visit.

Excellent B&B with a warm welcome by the proprietor making you feel at home, also cooking a delicious breakfast. Free parking and ability to charge your car. Short walk into the lovely centre of Poitiers with many restaurants to choose from. Highly recommended!

Un lieu idéal pour se ressourcer. Chambre confortable, calme , petit déjeuner maison excellent. Un charmant petit jardin, très soigné dont les fleurs viennent fleurir les préparations culinaires. Accueil très professionnel et bienveillant. Une superbe adresse. Parking à disposition.

What a gem! We were 4 friends traveling together so we rented all 4 rooms. We had such a lovely stay. The rooms are beautiful, well appointed and comfortable with ample space to unpack. Breakfast is divine! Philippe is the consummate host and a great cook. We couldn't get over the variety of tasty treats he offered each morning. The property is charming and Philippe offered us a tour of the garden and caves which was so interesting. The weather was so lovely that we took advantage of the beautiful garden and had a picnic dinner one evening.
