A really beautiful hotel with gorgeous evening light and attention to detail. Ignore reviews about busy road - it’s a pretty quiet road at the edge of town and we didn’t hear cars at all once in the hotel/by the pool. Nice restaurant opposite and several in the first bit of town a 10min walk away then longer walk (could get taxi) to lots more in old town at the top of the hill. We enjoyed doing the walk! Pool is clean, large, warm with loads of loungers. Our room wasn’t big (and would have liked tea and coffee bits!) but nicely done with lovely old big stone window and seat. The whole hotel has real character and staff are very nice. Drinks and food are pretty pricey but we weren’t the only ones bringing in a sandwich or some bottled beers to keep in the room fridges and that seemed fine. It’s a great spot to quickly visit loads of places and a nice balance between town and countryside at a good price for a touch of luxury - so in summary - would really recomend!

Quelle belle découverte !! Endroit idéal en point de chute pour rayonner aux alentours ( Sienne, San Gimignano, Volterà, Regione du Chianti, etc...) Hôtel de charme et de grande qualité: la gentillesse du personnel, les chambres magnifiques, la propreté, les extérieurs très soignés, le superbe espace piscine, la qualité du restaurant, tout y est dans une ambiance sereine et bucolique. Nous y avons séjourné le jour de l'ouverture de la saison 2025 et l'accueil a été formidable alors que chacun était très occupé. Merci à toute l'équipe, nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir et recommandons déjà cet établissement à tous nos amis amoureux de l'Italie.

Gorgeous hotel with ample amounts of charm. The location is excellent for exploring Tuscany and Florence. It has every bit the look and feel of a five star hotel that costs hundreds of dollars more. That being said, it lacks the touches of a true luxury hotel. Bath amenities were scarce (no conditioner, bath wash, or wash cloths provided and the hair dryer was one you would find in a cheap motel) the lack of power outlets also made the room challenging. However, for the value you simply will not find a more authenticity Tuscan resort. I will happily return (a little better prepared) for our next Tuscan holiday.
