Days Inn & Suites by Wyndham Pocahontas

The staff was OK. The room was very humid and smelled badly. We talked to the woman at the desk and she said she could get some industrial air freshener. The room was cool but clammy, all through the night. The stay was OK, but not worth $130.

The staff was very friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. The continental breakfast was the only thing we did not care for. They had cereal, juice, coffee, breakfast bars and biscuits and gravy and fruit.

The hotel’s location is awesome, but it could use some sprucing up. The rooms could use a little TLC, and the gym is a bit small. But hey, there’s plenty of parking around the hotel and the area is well-lit. And the best part? All the hotel staff we met were super friendly and helpful.

Horrible breakfast. They shouldn’t even offer breakfast. They actually have smoking rooms. I didn’t think indoor smoking was allowed anywhere. When we arrived late at night and not wanting to drive any further all that was available were smoking rooms. We booked 2 rooms and the stench was horrible. No effort had been made to air them out between rentals.

AWFUL experience! From the moment we walked in, the smell of mildew was overpowering. Opened door to the third floor (where our room was located) and were hit with an even stronger smell of mold! Then, when were couldn't imagine it getting worse, it sure did! Opened door to our room and eyes were burning from the incredibly strong mold odors. Tried changing rooms, no better elsewhere. So unhealthy! Couldn't sleep at all since I couldn't breath. Woke up with a headache. Quickly left first thing in the morning, unrested and money wasted. Horrible. This family needs major attention to HVAC ventilation!

Very professional, room pleasant, Staff incredible and easy to get along with. I would recommend the days inn Pocahontas SD
