Courtyard Philadelphia Plymouth Meeting

The location is convenient, close to highways, restaurants, and shopping. Guests love the spacious, clean rooms with comfy beds and balconies. Staff are praised for their friendly and efficient service.

Nice stay I only stayed 1 night with my 2 teen daughters for a dance competition, but it was very clean and comfy. To be completely honest I noticed 2 small hairs on the shower floor but other than that the room was immaculate and the beds were comfy. No complementary breakfast, but there is a paid restaurant option which I felt was a bit pricey.

In honesty, the housekeeping staff was lovely. The front desk staff was abominable! Didn't look at us or make eye contact. Acted like they were doing us a favor. Not a word at checkout, like Thank you, or did you enjoy your stay. Upon ck/out I relayed that I drank one of their $6 bottles of water and to please add it to my bill. So they did. When the final bill came through, a day later!! A second $6 charge was added, as well as $250 penalty because "they found a cigar butt on my balconey" and this is a non-smoking hotel. Hello??!! I was on the balconey drinking the $6 bottle of water and there was no evidence. There was also no way someone could have thrown a cigar butt around from another room, or from below. Plus, I left the window open for fresh air and would have smelled smoke. I called the hotel, and the front staff argued. I was told they have photographs to prove I smoked a cigar. How could a photo prove what balconey of what room? I asked to speak with the manager, and got another staff member. This one was hugely rude and said the charges would not be eliminated and I could take it up with my bank. I asked again to speak with the manager. "They're all in meetings". I asked to be called back. That didn't happen. I filled out an online review, and a customer service person wrote back to say they used my example as a teaching moment for their staff. I said, That doesn't address the $256 false charges! I wrote my complaint to the hotel manager (found his info on LinkdIn) and he did not reply. We were staying at the hotel for a local wedding, and I have friends in the area so I stay overnight a lot. I WILL NEVER STAY AT THIS HOTEL AGAIN. I have also alerted the wedding venue not to recommend it.
