Service and facilities excellent, we didn't have the breakfast so can't comment. My travelling companion had not long before had a knee operation and the staff couldn't do enough for her. Great location near the front all in all a very good choice for the 3 days we were there.

No hot water. Roof leaking through the electricity lamp. Dishonest owner of the hotel and dishonest receptionist. Dust in the carpet. Tiny room. Windows do not open for fresh air.

Great location, just a few minutes walk from the iconic Plymouth Hoe, and 5-10 mins into city centre. Friendly welcome, and efficient no-fuss check-in. The “Superior” bedroom was a good size, with a very large bathroom too. Bedroom was attractively furnished, and pleasantly decorated. Good shower. The wall-mounted TV was a little too small for the size of the room, and the sound quality was awful. Public areas downstairs consisted of a small bar/reception area, and an attractive lounge. The breakfast room is on the lower ground floor (but didn’t have breakfast, so can’t comment on that). The hotel has a handful of chargeable parking spaces. There is plenty of on-street parking, but rather expensive. All in all, a very comfortable stay at a good price.

A heck of a lot of stairs!!!! Very friendly staff and is some free parking around back but not a lot. Stayed at worse. 12 quid breakfast was alright.
