From the moment we arrived till when we left the experience was fantastic. The hotel was an elegant venue with fantastic views. There is plenty of safe parking on site. All the staff were very helpful and friendly from the moment we arrived till when we left. The rooms were good. Traditional with a modern twist. Bathrooms were very well finished and luxurious! The wedding g venue was great and the staff could not do enough for us. There was no waiting g for food and drinks. It all ran smoothly with a minimum of prompting by us! Thank you for making our daughters wedding so memorable!

Had another lovely stay for a few days last week visiting daughter and granddaughter. Love this place - golf course is fabulous and kept in great condition and all the staff are always friendly, helpful and professional. Rooms are always clean and comfortable and the food is great. We used the leisure facilities which when you consider the cost of the hotel vs others with similar facilities and surroundings it is great value! We never want to go home though!

Welcoming and friendly staff throughout the hotel! Dinner in the restaurant was exceptional. Our room was huge and very clean, if maybe a little dated. Spa treatments were very relaxing. On the whole this hotel and its staff couldn't do enough for us to make our stay as enjoyable as it was. Special mentions for Katie, Emma, Carol and Josie.

Wir sind sehr freundlich empfangen worden. Das Zimmer ist geräumig und großzügig bemessen. Es gab einen Wasserkocher und Teebeutel, der Blick durch das große Fenster ließ eine schöne Aussicht auf den Golf-Court zu. Wellnes wird hier genauso groß geschrieben wie das eigene Schwimmbad, die Sauna und das Fitness-Studio. Gutes Essen rundet den Aufenthalt ab. Jederzeit wieder!

Was at the hotel for a family wedding. Meals were preoredred as advised. We ordered burgers when they came our the burger buns were cold, partly frozen and partly mushy, not able to eat the bread. When we mentioned this we were told this is normal for burger bun. Burger itself was tough and chewy. Really disappointed.

Came here for my daughters wedding. Food the night before was terrible. My wife and I had the burger meal. The lower bun was terrible, wet and stone cold on both. On complaining the staff said the chef said it was normal and it was the sauce that made it soggy. No sorry. I don't want money off. If the chef thinks that is OK I hate to think what the wedding meal will be like! I have stayed in many places around the world and this is the worst I have had! Over priced and rubbish attitude.

Wow ! what an amazing venue for our wedding, Leah and her team went above and behond, it was everything we hoped for and more, making sure our day went without a hitch. From the food, bar staff, too putting button holes on for guests, totally professional. Also big shout out to Ann for making our chairs look beautiful (Covers and Sashes). Highly recommended, you will not be disappointed. Thank you Leah and Team you helped make our day fantastic!

Amazing staff, they go above and beyond for us every time we stay. The hotel is very peaceful and relaxing. The surroundings are beautiful. Breakfast is lovely with a good selection. Our room was clean and tidy. Special mention to Lisa on reception who is a credit to this hotel.

All the staff are excellent at the Effordleigh Hotel: professional, efficient and friendly. Wheel chair access was good throughout the hotel and the room was large with wheel chair access to the bathroom. A stool was provided in the shower (1 step). The staff on reception were super helpful at the time of booking and explained all of this to us. The furniture in the rooms is a unremarkable, but fulfilled requirements. The bed was comfortable. The food was tasty and the spa and pool facilities were good.
