We used this as our Hub to pop off to important cities and sites in Normandy. At the end of the trip, my favorite part was this chateau. It was so beautiful and so peaceful. The room was spectacular in the breakfast was delicious. I had a specialty omelette and pan au chocolat every morning. I really enjoyed talking to the other travelers at breakfast. The staff was extremely kind and helpful. They spoke English. It was fun talking to them too because they recommended places to eat or shop for snacks. (There is a mini fridge in the room.) The staff also told us of a couple of nearby towns that we checked out One had an antique Market that weekend and another had a fresh farmers market. My absolute favorite part was going to bed at night listening to the rain and cozing up with my book. Waking up to the view was just as awesome.

If you are visiting in the Normandy area around Mont St. Michel, you owe it to yourself to stay at the Chateau La Rametiere. The grounds are magical, Pascal and Christina were so helpful and friendly with great local suggestions and the chateau location is perfect for day trips in the region. This was our second time staying and we will definitely be back the next time we visit Normandy.

We had an amazing time at Château La Rametière. The place is stunning — beautifully restored, full of character, and super cozy. The hosts made us feel really welcome, and the breakfast was honestly one of the best we’ve had. It’s such a peaceful spot, perfect for relaxing. Would definitely come back!

We stayed here this past week with 10 people and had the most amazing time. Pascale and Marti were so amazing and made the stay perfect. Everything we did was great. They went above and beyond to help us enjoy our stay and didn’t disappoint. The rooms and chateau were beautiful and so comfortable. The grounds were like a botanical garden. You could spend days walking all the paths. The private dinners we had there were amazing. Pascale is an amazing cook!

A truly special hotel, but also an experience that allows you to live an authentic chateau. Exquisite hospitality. Excellent breakfast. A beautiful park to explore. Extremely reasonable prices even for the bar. Our only regret was that we only stayed one night

My only regret is that we didn't plan a longer stay! This Chateau and the grounds are stunning. The resident manager, Pascale, was delightful, helpful and it was so pleasant to chat with her during our stay. She recommended a lovely restaurant in a nearby town and arranged reservations for us on a busy Friday night. Made to order breakfast, extensive honor bar with drinks and snacks, beautiful suite and common areas and very reasonable pricing; you can't go wrong with Chateau La Remetiere!
