Psaros Melinta

I loved everything about my stay at the Psaros. It’s right on the beautiful beach at Melinta and the room was spotless with a lovely view. The bed was very comfortable and I slept really well. All the food was absolutely incredible! I thought I would try the other taverna on the beach but the food was so good here I didn’t want to. The menu was varied and they did every Greek dish you could imagine. Everything I had was delicious and perfectly cooked but the memory of the prawn saganaki there will stay with me forever 🤣 It’s a very friendly place. Although it was my first visit, I felt like I was revisiting somewhere familiar and I was made to feel really welcome without being smothered. The staff at the beach bar below are also very friendly and I felt totally at ease as a solo traveler. You can also take a water taxi from the beach to the beautiful Panagia Krifti. Definitely worth a visit! I will definitely return, it’s the perfect place to relax and unwind and one of the friendliest places I’ve ever been to 🧡

Stayed for a couple of nights in September. Room ready when I arrived mid morning. Clean and comfortable with a fridge and good air con. Balcony with amazing view of the rock and wonderful sea views. Sun beds, shades and shower on the beach. Good food at the taverna, with breakfast available. Friendly service. Recommended.

We arrived into Plomari late in the afternoon, the ouzo factory was closed so on a whim we decided to stay over. We literally drove along the Melinta Road and right at the end came across Psaros… so glad we did🥰. Initially we were going to stay 1 night but the next morning lying in bed listening to the ocean we decided to stay another. Persa, Eleni and Yannis are fabulous hosts. Amazing people and the food…. OMG absolutely fantastic. Everything is home cooked. No menu… Persa would tell us what she had cooked that day and we would choose, far too much as we wanted to try every thing. The red wine was also beautiful. We left and headed back up to Petra where we were staying, although we loved it here as soon as we got back we had already decided we would head back down in the following week. We didn’t let them know we were coming back and I can honestly say I felt like we had come home when we returned to Psaros🥰🥰. We checked straight back into “our” room and headed our to our special beach, it was near to the end of season so we were practically the only people there. We loved Lesvos but these ladies have a special place in our hearts, when we are telling friends about our trip we always talk about them with such fondness. Lesvos is amazing but staying here was the icing on the cake Can’t rave enough about this place. Our room was basic but everything we needed, the location, balcony and view of our rock… we are in love with everything, very Greek, chilled out and the best hospitality ever😍. Could see Chios and Turkey from here. These ladies are Superwomen. There is so much to see around that part of the Island, stay here you won’t be disappointed. We will definitely be staying here again🥰. V.xx

Enjoyed a lovely day at the beach including the use of free beach chairs and umbrellas. Enjoyed a delicious Greek salad and side of fries while lounging on the beach. Great service and good prices! The location is beautiful and you have the most amazing view from the second floor of the restaurant. Would highly recommend spending a full day here!
