B&B Villa Sumrak Plitvica

Villa Sumrak is a true insider tip for anyone who appreciates refined hospitality and wants to experience the famous Plitvice Lakes in a more exclusive way. Unlike the overcrowded main entrances, Villa Sumrak is located above the waterfalls, with the now semi-unofficial entrance 3 to the park within walking distance (10-15 minutes). With all online tickets, you can easily pass through entrances 1 or 2, and reach the boat dock in no time. From here, host Miro has put together a wonderful circular route through the park, which leads you—always against the flow of the crowds—to the most beautiful spots in the national park. But even on the day of arrival, even if you haven't pre-booked tickets for the park, you'll still get your money's worth: Outside the park, there are also spectacular locations within easy reach of Villa Sumrak. For example, Miro guided us to the fantastic vantage point at the old mill by the large waterfall, which regular park visitors often don't find. In addition to the great starting point, there's the hospitality: over a glass of wine, the route is discussed comfortably on the pretty terrace of Villa Sumrak - and off we go! Breakfast and dinner are available for an additional charge. We were particularly impressed by the dinner meals! Veal cooked for hours in a Dutch oven, porcini mushroom risotto for the vegetarians, fresh chocolate cake for dessert - the food was both delicious and an experience.
