We visited on a very blustery evening so had to eat inside however we had a lovely evening. The waiters were so friendly and the service was first class. The sushi was the best we had in S.A., it was all so fresh & well presented. We would happily recommend The Bungalow.

Das Bungalow Plett ist einfach fantastisch. Das Meer direkt vor der Tür, tolles Essen, superfreundliches Personal und sehr gute Unterkünfte. Wir wohnten im "The Dove", ein sehr schönes Apartment. Wir wurden mit einer Flasche kaltem Wein auf dem Zimmer begrüßt, Drinks und Snacks im Kühlschrank waren inklusive und von beiden (!) Terrassen hatte man einen Blick aufs Meer, hinter dem kleinen liebevoll gepflegten Garten, Abends gibt es im Restaurant frisch zubereitetes Sushi. Plettenberg an sich ist auch ein sehr schöner Ort. Hier lässt es sich aushalten. Wir würden sofort wiederkommen.

Met een ligging direct aan het strand natuurlijk een geweldig onderkomen voor zon en zee liefhebbers. Heerlijke sfeer, goed verzorgde kamers en een prachtig uitzicht over zee vanaf het terras. De kamer (wedge) is niet zo groot maar er is veel buitenruimte voor algemeen gebruik en waar je gezellig zit. Goede was service, ‘s morgens ingeleverd eind van de middag schoon en fris weer terug. Altijd wat lekkers op de kamer en bij aankomst flesje witte wijn. Kregen met kerst leuke kerstkoek en flesje wijn. Alleen bed was wat krap, maar hebben er niet slecht door geslapen! Dikke prima!!!

Exceptional stay
The bungalow is exceptional, set in a stunning beach location. The rooms are superb, very comfortable and all the amenities you need. There is also a large covered outside area in the trees overlooking the beach, with huge sofas and cussions as well as a firepit and braai which is great for relaxing after dinner - only for the use of those staying. There's a very good restaurant and bar open all day and evenings - food is delicious. The staff were also brilliant and could not have been more helpful, keen to go the extra mile, friendly and attentive.

Absolutely stellar 5 star service. Received a free room upgrade which was a beautiful family suite that was very spacious and clean. Lovely porch with chairs and a nice fire to sit by with other guests, if you choose. Staff were very accommodating and friendly. You can choose to eat at their restaurant for breakfast, lunch or dinner. We had a lovely breakfast on the rooftop that had a beautiful view of the ocean. It also had a spa for massages, which we regrettably had no time for.
Gorgeous location, quirky but very friendly place. Feels like a second home!

I would say this place is 4.5, for a 5 the rooms should be bigger. Apart from the room size the place is perfect: great location (50m from the beach, walking distance to all the shops), beautiful grounds and delicious food. Happy to recommend it to everyone staying in Plettenberg Bay.
