What can I say it was a bargain deal and I had a wonderful time. Such friendly owner and staff, the service was awesome but unobtrusive and it really made my stay in plett wonderful. A short walk to everywhere and near the town centre. Overall I highly recommend the Mandalay guest house to anyone. It's also a relatively small place which is great because it was nice and private

Our stay at Mandalay Guesthouse was absolutely wonderful! The guesthouse itself is spacious, beautifully maintained, and offers a warm and welcoming atmosphere. A special thank you to Erika, the incredible manager, who made our experience truly unforgettable. She is such a kind and caring person who went above and beyond to ensure we had the best possible stay. Every day, she personally took the time to guide us to the places we wanted to visit, including breathtaking viewpoints we wouldn’t have discovered on our own. She was not just a manager but also our guide, and we are incredibly grateful for everything she did for us. We truly felt at home here, and we highly recommend Mandalay Guesthouse to everyone looking for a memorable and heartwarming experience.

We stayed three nights at Mandalay Guest House and it was very good. Nice pool and barbecue area and very nice service and a lot of useful information.

Lovely quiet and serene.
The place is peaceful and quiet with a serene yard/pool area. The rooms are lovely with seating area and private patio. It is about a mile outside of "town" but feels suburban.
I think it's great for a couple or family with a car. As a solo traveler I didn't find it perfect as I was reliable on taxis but that is unique to my needs. The place is lovely.
