Super 8 by Wyndham Winfield/Quail Ridge Area

When we arrived at the hotel, the lobby had a suspicious smell. We thought it was strange that there was a portable fan running next to our door. After opening the door to our room, we smelled the scent of cat and I am highly allergic to cat. The room did not look very clean, so we checked the mattresses & pillows for bedbugs before we sat down. We then left for our meeting, but after discussing this, we agreed that we could not stay at this hotel. We gathered our bags (which we had not opened) and turned in our key cards. After telling the manager about the cat smell and the charcoal filter hanging from the clothing rack, she stated that they had had this complaint before! I wonder if this is why the fan was running and the charcoal filter was in the room? It’s obvious they were trying to cover up something.

I have stayed here numerous times. I have never had an issue. Rooms clean. Outside of town. Kids loved the pool.

The first room I was in the heater did not work. I was moved to another room that the television did not work. The coffee and the breakfast area is probably the worst I’ve ever had.

Same as always. I stay here often when I’m in town. I just wish the hallways didn’t always smell of a certain illicit substance.

The rooms were clean and comfortable. Great pool area for the kids. The staff was very friendly and understanding
