We loved it !

A HIDDEN GEM OF PUERTO NUEVO If you’re in a small town like Puerto Nuevo and want a nice, private, safe Hotel, look no further! The owner- Dave is an amazing person! Anything we needed he got us… and even offered to drive one of his cars to avoid being pulled over in a flashy car. The rooms have a beautiful ocean view, three Jacuzzis on the property, very nice sauna, an infinity pool, and patios all over with amazing views of the ocean. Don’t forget, this is a boutique hotel so you’ll feel more at home than in a hotel room. Perfect hotel to book if you’re going as a couple or a lot of friends! The whole place will be yours.

They need to buy dark curtains. It's hard to sleep without it. Other than that everything is perfect.

The water was not running, until manager turned it on and the shower water was cold.

I had a fantastic stay at David's place, The Capitan Boutique Resort! He was incredibly nice and helpful, which made my experience even better. As someone who travels a lot, I can confidently say that this place had everything we needed. From a water dispenser and coffee brewer to plenty of extra pillows and blankets, everything was thoughtfully provided. The fully stocked kitchen had all the essentials—spices, pots, pans, and cooking oil, dishes, utensils—making it easy to cook our meals. I even went out to buy hygiene essentials, only to find that David had already stocked the bathroom with everything we could need, including shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. The rooftop pool was a highlight, offering stunning views of the beach. The rooftop area also featured bathrooms, showers, two jacuzzis, and a sauna—everything was impeccably clean and beautifully decorated. It’s clear that David has put a lot of work into this place. The location is perfect, just 7 minutes from Puerto Nuevo and very close to all the stores and restaurants. I will definitely stay here again!
