Hotel Nayra - Adults Only

Cleanliness and Decor: The hotel is highly praised for its cleanliness, modern decor, and tranquil atmosphere despite its central location near the lively Yumbo Centre.

This is our second stay at the Nayra. We requested to stay in the annex complex again, across the street from the main hotel. Its so quiet most of the time that all you can hear is the water trickling into the filter in the swimming pool and the afternoon breeze in the trees. We like the hotel being on one level. Its a very welcoming, cozy establishment, with all the staff being very friendly and willing to help. The rooms are spotless, have good showers and aircon, mini-fridge, and are cleaned every day. All rooms have a very small front patio which then opens up onto the pool and sun loungers. Most also have a small private rear patio which is usefull for drying wet swim wear etc. Breakfast is served in the main complex, and is a range of cooked and cold served buffet style, and you can even ask the chef to cook you an omlette or fry back bacon and egg if you don’t fancy the more continental style. Evening menu is more than adequate for most tastes, we especially like the club sandwich and the Nayra burger, all cooked fresh and served with salad. The main complex is a slightly larger version of the annex, with rooms areanged either side of a larger pool. It also has a bar area next to reception, if a drink by the pool is your thing. Guests are mostly a variety couples from an assortment of countries, who are all friendly and greet you in the mornings. The Yumbo centre is across the street from the rear of the main complex, and has an extensive array of restaurants within easy reach (if you like Italian we recommend Cacio e Pepe).The sound does not seem to carry from the Yumbo in the evenings, making sitting outside your room for a relaxing drink in the annex a plesant experience.
