We loved our stay at Hotel LaSemilla! It is in a great location on 38th street by fun restaurants and the beach. The staff was amazing and attentive. The rooms were comfortable and well decorated. One of the best things was the homemade breakfast each morning with a different Mexican entree everyday! Also the roof top patio and courtyard are beautiful and great to hang out in! Thanks for a wonderful stay in Playa Del Carmen would recommend to anyone!

WARNING! DO NOT BOOK HERE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES! It is not possible to sleep at all. The accommodation is surrounded by party places and bars, and the music is loud until dawn. The room has no soundproofing whatsoever, so you can practically hear everything that goes on in the street. You wake up at 7am to the sound of shakes in the restaurant next door. It's impossible to rest. The garden is nice and the breakfast is good, but the room is small, there is no proper wardrobe, no toilet brush, the hot water goes out regularly and there is an old air conditioner that made my throat close up. The rooms are not cleaned, the towels are not changed. Furthermore, the advertised free parking is not available. You can find much better value for money accommodation in Playa del Carmen for a third of the price. We left after the first night due to the above conditions and wrote to the manager for a refund for the remainder of our stay, but he refused to respond. Absolutely avoid it if you want to relax.

The hotel is in a great location. The beach and the main walking street (5th Avenue) are a stone throw away. Staff is friendly and helpful. Lots of good restaurants, stores, bars with live music and ice cream shops nearby. Room was clean and comfy.

I had the most amazing stay at this magical hotel. The amazing staff, the magical garden, and the fresh healthy breakfast made this a trip beyond compare. The moment you step over the threshold you are just transported to another world. 10 out of 10 stars! I will return!

The location is perfect , there’s a super market nearby for all essentials at a better price , Claudia was amazing helpful in giving tips , the breakfast is delicious , kinda love that you are surprised with something different each day , the rooms are comfortable , loveeee the shower , excellent water pressure , the area feels very safe , lots of nice restaurants nearby , def recommended

Seht gute Lage nah am Strand und etwas abseits vom Trubel der 5th Avenue. Sehr nette Gastgeber, tolles, mit Liebe zubereitetes Frühstück. Die Gastgeberin war sehr großzügig und hat unser Zimmer kurzfristig umgebucht, da wir anders als ursprünglich geplant erst einen Tag später anreisen konnten. Das Zimmer war ebenfalls sehr liebevoll eingerichtet - wir waren mit allem rundum zufrieden. Vielen lieben Dank!
