My sister, nephew and myself visited the resort from July 23- 28 2025. I needed a short quick getaway and the price was too good to resist. My review is based on the fact that I got a great deal and was aware of the fact that there was construction and it is sargassum season. Taking these factors into account, my review is based on our experience. Firstly, the staff was amazing, always smiling and extremely helpful. The accommodations were good and clean. The common spaces were constantly cleaned, even the public washrooms. Drinks were delicious, albeit a bit weak for me. The pools were beautiful and kept clean. Night entertainment was fun. Of course we could not use the beach and the stench of decaying sargassum was real, but that is nature and I can’t deduct points for that, it’s like complaining that it stormed when I went during rainy season. In the same vein, I went during sargassum season so I can’t complain. I rated it four star based on the food. Although the buffets had plenty of options, not everything was tasty, but I could always find something that suited my palette. La Fleur had the best food and ambiance, Hacienda was okay, La Vaqueria was dismal. Had I paid a lot more than I did, the food would have been seriously disappointing. Due to the season and construction, the resort was most likely half capacity so there was no struggle for sun loungers at the pool or long line ups at the buffets. Over all it was a good short getaway.

We are beach lovers and unfortunately the beach was disappointing. Hotel was clean. Food choices were good. The rooms with the pool access is recommended. Your balcony goes into a pool, that was a lovely feature. Half the resort is under construction to be completed in Dec 2025. Service was also efficient and friendly. Resort is big and there is constant shuttles back and forth. I'm posting pictures of the beach since I'd like future guests to be informed of the sargassum situation.

Amazing place and the staff is very nice and The staff are very attentive and kind. Our entire stay was a great experience. The waiters at the Riviera Snack restaurant are all very good, but especially Nancy welcomed us with a big smile and made us laugh.

Estuvimos desde el 9/5 al 20/5/2025 fuimos a este hotel en varias oportunidades. El hotel siempre muy limpio y cuenta con muy buena calidad y validez de sus empleados. La playa en esta oportunidad con mucho sargazo (algas) a tal punto que es casi imposible ingresar al mar. Las piletas son lindas pero se llenan de gente que lo único que les importa es tomar bebidas alcohólicas, allí están horas consumiendo todo tipo de bebidas

Dirty location. Rude and abusive personal. They don't speak English. Manager not helpful. Poor options to choose food. Receptionist Ruben, Costine and Victoria rude ar extreme. No more than 3 stars location. Management don't care about loosing customers.

Here at the Grand Riviera princess we stayed at the Platinum our state was excellent our concierge was Enrique and he was excellent, everything that we needed or anything we asked him he was well able to help us and guide and direct us with no problem even when we came with last minute requests he fulfilled our request. The transportation to and from the Platinum to the front lobby was stellar the drivers were awesome especially Bernie he was great my wife she really enjoyed Bernie because he took time to remember her name that was a touch of class. Our room was the ocean view and it was awesome we also bought our daughter who had her own room in the Platinum I'll let her give her own review we had dinner at the various restaurants which was nice but the one restaurant where we had our breakfast and our lunch, we had an awesome server and we will never forget her her name was Nancy she made us feel so at home and just like family our whole vacation trip was beautiful, restful, and fun. This was myself and my wife our fourth time staying here at the Grand Riviera princess it is just beautiful we'll see you again soon, bye for now

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour. Hotel magnifique et extrêmement propre. Servis excellent particulièrement au déjeuner avec Raziel. Seul déception le fond de mer rocailleux, souliers d’eau un must. Lit confortable, nous avons bien apprécié le swim out. Je recommande vivement.
