I stayed at the lodge for 4 nights and had a great experience overall. The staff was super friendly, and the atmosphere was really welcoming. As a solo traveler, I felt totally safe here. The location is perfect—close enough to 5th Ave. to be convenient but far enough away that you don’t have to deal with loud music all night. The Wi-Fi worked well, which was a must since I was working here.
A few things to note:
There’s construction across the street that’s pretty loud during the day, and the showers only have cold water. The place could definitely use some updates—like fixing the broken door knob and adding another curtain to fully cover the windows. Even with these small issues, I still felt safe thanks to the staff.
The price is a little high for what it is, especially since it could use a bit of a refresh. But the great staff, safe location, and a solid Wi-Fi connection made it worth it for me.

Dirty bathrooms, shower was dripping water I could not take shower properly because not enough water in the shower, broken bunk beds. Not suitable for guests.

The staff is super friendly and welcoming, bed is so comfy with the fluffiest pillows. Was upgraded to a king room upon checkin and the room was very spacious. Great walking location to everything with an Oxxo one block away to grab the morning coffee! I definitely will stay here again! Very quaint place!

2 Night Stay in Playa Del Carmen.
Was a pleasant 2 nights stay. Lovely property. The drom beds are bit hard ,but I slept well,was nice a quiet. Loved that they provided a towel. Staff are all very nice and helpful. My favourite of the stay is the lovely at 😃

Fue muy grato estar en ese hotel, ya que al principio pensé que no iba a pasarla bien xq no había luz pero después todo se arregló una buena experiencia y muy relajante, excelente servicio!!
