The room had a strange smell, even after the hotel staff used deodorizing spray. The air conditioner in my room wasn't cool, despite the employee being informed. Flies were present in the bathroom sink. My bedroom was right in front of the hotel, resulting in loud pub noise until 3 am.

I have NEVER WRITTEN A REVIEW BEFORE... CHARGED 2 TIMES!!!! and generally loathe when people complain to the public... but I am out of ideas!! I was originally very happy with this hotel, but was charged twice for my stay; once upon checking in, and then again at departure check out. I simply cannot get my refund for one of the charges. The management at checkout told me it would be released in 7-10 business days... which is already ridiculous given it was their mistake. But after three weeks, they have provided nothing expect an email saying It is being taken care of" This is absurd, as funds flow freely and immediately between countries/banks. I can only assume that they really just don't care, and may actually need the money to run the hotel or bolster its balance sheet. It was not very full when I was there. Potentially and honest mistake that was NEVER CORRECTED. - stolen money!!

This location is right where everything is nightlife , restaurants and shopping 5th Ave . The Staff ALFIE was so friendly, helpful and kind , he make you feel at home and Wellcome . The suite was fashionable and sexy love the bathroom. And the music by the pool was good they play afrobeats even when you enter into the hotel I give this place 5 Stars all the way

We’ve stayed at The Beach House at Hyatt before, and it was never in this condition. Wanting to enjoy a relaxing day, we opted for a day pass, but the experience was nothing like what we’ve come to expect. The service was terrible—despite it not being very busy, we constantly had to get up and ask for things instead of being attended to. It felt like the staff just wasn’t paying attention. The most disappointing part was how run-down the property has become. We’ve always liked this spot in the past, but now, everything feels neglected—rusty, breaking down, and overall very cheap-looking. It’s clear that maintenance and upkeep are not a priority anymore. Given how much this place has declined, we won’t be coming back. There are much better options in the area that still offer the service and quality expected from a Hyatt property. I appreciate you keeping me accountable. Let me know if you’d like any further tweaks.

I have stayed here many times before. The Hyatt has some work to do in order to uphold the Thompson previous experience. I came to write a review because one person made our stay incredible. JUAN POOL. 1.He has an amazing attitude. 2.Smiling all the time. 3. Went out of his way to help us, from changing out room to restaurant suggestions 4. Greeted us with respect and kindness 5. Important to praise an employee like this. He needs a promotion! Thank you Juan. Not just a bellboy. A real gem :)

Beautiful property and excellent location. Staff were wonderful! Only thing keeping this from being a perfect hotel was that it was badly in need of maintenance. Pool was missing tiles, only had 3 umbrellas and most of the chairs needed replacing. For a Hyatt, they have enough money to invest to keep this amazing property looking great! The rooms were in better condition than the rooftop and pool but needed more pillows. Still highly recommend staying here but Hyatt must invest in maintenance!!!
