Lovely hotel at a very good location. Modern, nicely decorated for Christmas. Polite staff, good choice for breakfast and dinner. Christmas dinner was something out of this world( been to many hotels, but Xmas dinner now will be hard to match). Not sure if it is always like this but we were the youngest in the hotel(43&47)during the first part of holidays and only later some other younger people joined us. The average age was 60's 😁 This hotel is not orientated to children but for us it was perfect- no screaming and shouting and our girl had fun in the pool by Herself and her cousin🤣 I wanted to book Spring Hotel Bitacora at first but now I am thinking that I made an excellent choice . That said, I might try it out next time just because of the All nclusive service Bitacora provides. It was a nice quiet stay so if you expect something like Turkey, eith music around the pool, kids disco and shows, this hotel is not for you. We were half board and 4 days we ate at the pool bar and were never disappointed. Good food and reasonable prices. We didn't book UP option because we were with the kids( it's for 18+)but if I ever come without them- I will try it out! Pros: Very good location Modern hotel Heated pools( wheelchair friendly) Good food and service Cons: No shampoo in a room! It's a first for me 🙈 The tiles in the pool (mosaic) need replacement. My daughter filled probably half of the carrier bag from the bottom saw of the pool🤣 All in all- perfect stay and believe me, I am picky. It is one of the hotels I would recommend to my friends and family

We usually go to the Med Palace or Cleopatra and have been coming to PDLA for about 15 years now . We thought we would try a different hotel this time and were recommended the Spring Vulcano . Everything was going great , the room , gym , pool and breakfast were all very good and my wife and I both said we would definitely come back . That was until our 5th day of our 8 day holiday when a cockroach fell out of my T shirts in the wardrobe. We were both shocked but it wasn’t the end of the world . That night when I got up to go to the toilet about 2.00pm I was horrified to see 3 large cockroaches on the floor near the bed . I covered them with glasses and tried to go back to sleep . At about 6.00am I thought I would look again and saw another 2 large cockroaches on the floor and a smaller one on the chair next to our bed . I went to reception to report this and was told that it was a volcanic island etc and cockroaches are normal . I explained that we have been coming to PDLA for about 15 years now and have never experienced cockroaches in our room before. The guy in reception said he could change our room until midday but to leave our clothes etc in the room and he would get it sprayed. We decided just to get up and get some breakfast and keep out of the way until it was sorted as there was no way we could go back to sleep in another room . At about 11.30 I went up to our room ( on the 4th floor) and opened the door and within 5 seconds saw another small cockroach and this was after it had been sprayed ! My wife went to reception to say there was no way we could go back and spend any more time in the room and they put us in a lovely Up room for the last night . To be fair all the staff that we dealt with were very helpful and seemed genuinely apologetic but I couldn’t help feeling that someone higher up is taking shortcuts and not following the correct procedures to prevent this happening. Upon speaking to other people around the pool etc I was amazed to hear that many other people had cockroach experiences in their room , although not to the level of ours. We will never come back to this hotel because of this which is a pity because everything else was so good.

Great Hotel with fab location. We are in our 50s and often go to 5 stars in Turkey. This Hotel isn't the same however can not fault. Standard Room very nice. Air-conditioning working. Beds very comfortable. Clean. Service excellent. Breakfast fantastic. Location great. The only gripe is some of the sunbeds / umbrellas around the pool are in poor state. Apart from that we will be back.

I totally agree with the review from Paul T. I booked this hotel a few months ago on a half board basis only to be advised by the hotel of the change to the evening meal. Having read most reviews regarding the new system I seriously thought about cancelling my booking but decided to continue based on the new system. I and wife were so pleased with both the breakfast offerings and the new system for the evening meal was perfectly acceptable. All the staff were brilliant but I would like to praise one member of staff. On arrival we had a small issue with our allocated room so went down to reception to be dealt with Patricia who was brilliant in sorting out a new room. Thank you Patricia. My advice to anyone thinking of booking the Vulcano is to ignore the reviews regarding the sun bed situation and the new evening meal system and go with an open mind. I am sure you will enjoy the Vulcano. Jem Ross

Before we went, we read some of the reviews about the cleanliness of the hotel, all the areas we saw were spotless and couldn't fault it. The reception was beautiful with loads of seating zones separated by trees and plants. We originally booked a standard room with pool view and exclusive UP service, upon arrival the receptionist advised us that we had been upgraded to a large UP room. This was fantastic, there were towelling robes and slippers left for us, the room had ample storage for clothes, 2 soft chairs and table and a television facing this, a large sofa, another television facing large bed (approx 3 single beds wide), outside on the balcony (which wrapped around as we had a corner room) had 2 reclining plastic chairs, table and 2 sunbeds. Food wise if you are a picky / fussy eater then I agree with others to go bed and breakfast. Breakfast:- we only went down once, but there was a good range of food to choose from as you would expect. However as we had upgraded to the UP facility we had our meals up there. The menu was advertised as eat healthy. The food was good, breakfast menu was the same each day, the lunch was also similar but this didn't bother us. Evening meal- for starters and dessert this is a buffet, but the main course is a set menu of the same approximately 8 items, however they do have the daily specials (3 additional courses) you could ask about this is also referred to at the top of the menu which we missed on arrival and only new about this when we were talking to another couple about the evening meals. We would definitely recommend upgrading to the UP service as the food, drink, infinity pool and views were fantastic. If we would come back to this hotel I would only book bed and breakfast with of course the UP service. There are so many restaurants near by to choose from; Indian, Thai, Mexican, tapanyaki and not forgetting steak houses

This was our go to hotel but not any more they only do bed and breakfast now you have to pay if you want a evening meal which is not very good. Same menu every night with 3 extras which never looked appetising overall the food was disapointing. The evening entertainment could have more variety

The two males at reception where not nice at all, the room we where given had sharp edges and screws sticking up from the flooring which we both nearly cut our feet on, the room wasn’t cleaned properly & we had to get moved to another room. When we left we weren’t even asked if we enjoyed our stay just took our remaining bill, the food at breakfast was bad the fruit wasn’t nice at all which I had had before and loved but we had to go and eat out everyday which cost us more money. The smell from the drain in the shower was awful, no atmosphere at the pool and throughout the whole hotel.

The hotel is very clean and well maintained. We saw only one bug by the pool (that's now sadly no longer with us!) It's a hot country and they live here too, it's really not a big deal. We stayed in a room for three adults that was a great size and to a good standard. The breakfast is amazing! Beyond good. The pools are lovely. There is a very slight shortage of sun beds. You will get one any time of the day, but for three together you need to be down by 0900hrs. The pool bar and restaurant was also very good. You can order on the app and collect or sit at there to eat. The night time entertainment was mostly bad. However the service was great and after a few cocktails I didn't care! Been to a few hotels in the area. They all have good and bad. This one has more good. You will read a lot of people complaining about the evening meal. You are surrounded by amazing places to eat. Go B & B sorted. There did seem to be many who have been customers for a long time moaning about everything. I got the impression they didn't want to share with the younger generation. I understand they don't like it now. That's a shame but book somewhere else? Well done Spring. See you next year!
