Hotel-Apartamentos Andorra

This was my 2nd visit and am booked twice for next year so what does that tell you! Hotel is lovely and close to bars, restaurants, Safari Centre, Oasis Centre, Golden Mile and the beach. It is also close to the no. 40 Airport bus stop at Zentral Centre which costs €3.40 (I think) single and runs from 6.30 - 21.40. Just come out of departures and look for number 40 bus, watch the TV screen in bus for your stop. It couldn't be any easier! This is is a chill hotel with no drama, if you are looking for activities all day or loud music etc. this is not the hotel for you. Breakfast is great and there is everything for everybody including omlettes which are made fresh. Sausages are a hit and miss. Rooms are lovely and clean and cleaned daily with fresh towels. Pool Towels are free but you pay €10 deposit at reception per towel and get a card which is exchanged for a clean towel and you get the card back each evening when you return the towels. There is no queues for pool, it opens at 9.30 and you just put your towels down then with no rush or panic. There are plenty of beds for everyone. Staff are always very friendly. There is a welcome pack in the room which has water, crisps, olives, tooth picks and red wine. I would prefer white and I did try to swop it last year for white but was told no white was available!!! I would highly recommend this great value hotel due to its close proximity to everything and as I said I'm returning next year twice!!

Lovely clean 3 star hotel that always has a relaxing athmosphere. Nice friendly, and helpful, staff too. This is my 5th time staying there in as many years. I would pay extra for Irish/English sausage and bacon on the breakfest table. Also would love to see a couple of Irish stations like RTE1 AND RTE2 added to their TV list considering how many Irish people stay at the hotel. Those are only minor things though. All in all, the hotel is a great place for those who want a relaxing stay.

Felt very welcome from start to finish. Great hotel we were well looked after. This was our 2nd visit have already booked our 3rd.

The hotel was fantastic, the rooms were nice and big with a nice big balcony and they were cleaned every day by a lovely friendly cleaner. The pool and sunbed area was wonderful too, nice and clean and plenty of room. The only minor complaint was that an announcement was made every day that sunbeds couldn't be reserved and that towels etc would be removed after a period of time, this was never followed up but it wasn't too bad because there were enough beds anyway. Another good thing about the pool area was that the music wasn't too loud, it was just background music instead of this loud stuff booming out everywhere. We stayed bed and breakfast and we really enjoyed the food. The location of the hotel is ideal too excellent too, close enough to all the bars and restaurants but far enough away that you don't hear them . Overall, we loved it and we'll definitely be going back.

Overall hotel was good. If your looking for atmosphere this isn’t the hotel for you, some days the radio would be on around the pool bar and some days there wouldn’t be any music and quiet all day which being a younger couple we did find a little boring so we would head out for a few hours instead. Sunbeds aren’t an issue at all and can get one any time of the day however if you like the sun the sunbeds to the left don’t get any until after midday. Overall the staff were friendly however there were a few staff on the pool bar that seemed a bit miserable and I would avoid going up when they were there, however Natalya was amazing, couldn’t do enough for us and was so kind! Drinks were good, Fulbright was the best cocktail maker! I was looking forward to a strawberry daiquiris after seeing the pictures on here but the machine was broken for our whole 2 week stay. Rooms are cleaned daily no complaints there. We did have an issue with our aircon, when we first arrived the thermostat was reading over 20 although set to 10 and wouldn’t go below 20 for the first week (we thought the aircon must just be poor) however into the second week the temperature reached 28 and wouldn’t go down, we spoke to reception who said when it’s set to 10 the lowest it should reach is 17 degrees, so we figured out it hadn’t actually been working the whole time we were there. We were told it needed a new part to be fixed and in total we were left without aircon at all for 4 days which isn’t ideal as you are paying to stay in the building here that has the aircon, we asked for a fan and offered us a late checkout free of charge for the inconvenience. Location is perfect, 5 minute walk to the golden mile, 5- 10 mins or so to the beach.

Service from beginning to end was great. Room service were very friendly. Spotlessly clean hotel. Breakfast was very good with a wide variety of food. Pool attendant was very friendly. Pool cleaned regularly too. All in all a very friendly clean hotel.
