Marola Park

We stayed July 2025 Pretty much what you expect from a 3* ... Rooms are a bit dated, but it was very clean, and most of the hotel seems to have had a recent facelift (repainted, inside and out). . All the staff we dealt with were friendly and helpful. This is quite a centrally located hotel for the whole ..There are shops and restaurants close by .... you are a 5 minute walk from the main *****, and 10 minutes from beaches in different directions and everything else. We had room 112, one bedroom apartment .....We believe this is the best apartment .Not to far to walk to your room. . The bedroom is poolside (no road noise and gives you a wide balcony). . 112 has a deeper balcony than the other floors. So we had sunbeds on the balcony (95% dont), central to the pool . The location felt like a royal box, sticking out overlooking the pool. Any photos I have uploaded are as we were leaving. cleaning-wise, the room was cleaned perfectly before we arrived, and on several days while we were there Pool was ok ... again, very clean... Saw the area and pool being cleaned every day in the morning ....... The pool area seemed to be completely unsupervised, so the pool does seem to suffer from rubbish being left by guests throughout the day. ... and in my opinion, some light music should be played, as the design of the hotel causes echo, and when it's quiet, you can hear most conversations from around the pool from any room, and when people are playing, is can get quite loud. .... There was always free sunbeds, but the hotel didnt seem very busy when we stayed. Breakfast was quite bland and became repetitive. No Aircon (units can be rented for 80 euros a week). Bedroom ceiling fan ... (50 euro deposit for remote). No fan in the living room (where the second bed is). Safe ... 16 euros a week We will definitely be considering this hotel again, if we come back to this area. Having my favourite sweets, in the bowl in reception, was a nice touch :)

A great find of a hotel for the price. It’s located about 5-10 minute walk from the golden mile where there’s plenty of restaurants, shops, bars, entertainment and also various beaches. 24 hour reception, and the staff are very friendly, always say hello and willing to help. It’s not a massive hotel so there isn’t any entertainment or music around the pool, but this is nice if you want a chill, quiet vibe. First time ever we’ve stayed in a hotel where there were plenty of sunbeds throughout the day, not once did we struggle to find some, and we’d sometimes come down much later in the day/afternoon if we’d been out and about. Considering we visited early July, this was a first. Breakfast 08:30 - 10:30, plenty of choice. Pool bar open from 11:00 to 19:00ish serving drinks and food (reasonably priced) and the pool area 10:00 - 21:00. We had inflatables and could use these in the pool no problem. Our room was cleaned, sheets changed and fresh towels every day we were there bar Sunday. Again a first for us, we’ve stayed in much more expensive hotels where this wasn’t the norm. The place is spotless and the cleaning team are non stop. Rooms big, modern and fine for a base. We were a couple so plenty of hot water in the water tank for shower, (although seen some complaints that this runs out if there’s a few of you). We had a balcony overlooking the pool as we booked a one bed apartment (I believe all of the apartments overlook the pool). Couple of smaller studio rooms have balconies that overlook the main road/side of the building so a bit of noise. Balconies do get sun depending on where you are and how high up but varies throughout the day. Pool area gets the sun all day in summer, shade only starts to cover a small area of the pool and sunbeds at around 18:00. The rooms do not have air con, but you can put a €50 deposit (cash) for a week (which you get back when you leave) to get a remote for a ceiling fan in the room. It’s not those older ones you often see in hotels, it’s a modern smart operated one and the highest setting does circulate well, albeit a bit noisy. It is hot ish in the rooms but this kept us cool ish at night. Room comes with safe (cost for this) and fully equipped kitchenette with cutlery, plates, kettle, coffee machine, toaster, hob, fridge and mini freezer. We cannot fault this place for what we paid. Very quiet, spotless, close to everything you need and staff very helpful.

Lovely quiet hotel, rooms need some tlc shower isn’t great only 10 mins hot water then have to leave at least 30 mins to heat back up. Pool bar really reasonably priced and good food. We stayed in a 1 bedroom apartment that was nice and spacious and the cleanliness was on point. Staff are so friendly always saying hello and would always call a taxi for us with a smile. No late check out which wasn’t ideal when we had a night time flight with children. Overall though we have no major complaints and our stay at Marola park was perfect for us and our needs.

If you can get over the pinkness of the apartments then Marola Park is great. We had a pool view room with a large terrace and kitchen. The kitchen had a hob, fridge and cutlery, glasses pots pans etc. The beds were very comfortable and made up 3 times whilst we were there for a week. The bathroom was very modern and clean and plenty of hot water and towels. The hotel provide beach towels free of charge although you're not supposed to take them off the premises. The pool area was very quiet and clean when we were there and always had sun lounges available at any time of day. The bar is reasonably priced and the whole area is very calm and quiet. We were staying B&B and we did enjoy the breakfasts which had a cooked option, pastries, fresh bread, juice, coffee, tea and a pancake maker which our kids loved. The location is really good with a supermarket about 5 mins walk and the beach is about 10 mins. We also went to Siam park which is about 10-15 mins away and cost about 10 Euros in a cab. I recommend you get there for just after 9am to get on the rides early. The staff at the hotel were very good and always happy to help with queries or getting us a cab. Overall we were very impressed with the apartments and would stay here again.

Very Disappointing Stay at Marola Park I had high hopes for my stay at Marola Park, but unfortunately, it turned out to be quite a letdown. First, the road noise was constant and disruptive, making it nearly impossible to get a good night's sleep. The sound of traffic all night long really interrupted our sleep throughout our stay. There were also some issues with the security of the room. The balcony door didn’t fully lock and could only be secured with a manual lock that had been awkwardly screwed onto the top of the door. This felt unsafe and left us feeling uneasy when we weren’t in the room, as the two days that the cleaner did attend the room, we returned to find the balcony doors left unlocked which is concerning considering our room was a street view. Despite requesting fresh towels from the cleaners on one of their visits (they only attend twice a week), we never received any. This was more an inconvenience as we had to go back to reception to ask for more. Another frustrating issue was the lack of plug sockets in the room. There was only one socket for the entire room (which was in the kitchenette), which was a challenge for two people who both needed to charge devices. It really made things inconvenient, especially when you’re trying to get ready or relax. The location is another downside. There are a couple of restaurants on the same street as the hotel, although it is more residential than holiday-makers, The nearest bars and pubs for holiday-makers are about a 10-15 minute walk away, alongside a very dark waste-land area, It didn’t feel particularly safe to walk down this route at night, especially if you're returning from a night out. The shower experience was a real struggle too. The water turned cold after just a couple of minutes, which forced us to take very quick showers. We then had to wait for the water to reheat, but even then, the water never truly got warm again. This resulted in an entire week of cold showers, which was uncomfortable and frustrating. We visited at the very beginning of January when the weather wasn't too warm so it wasn't an issue for us, however there is no air conditioning which I believe would be a major problem in the summer. On a positive note, the pool area was decent. It was clean, and there were plenty of sun beds available, which was a nice touch & In terms of cleanliness and service, we couldn't fault either, as the hotel was clean and the staff were very polite & helpful. Overall, I would not recommend Marola Park. Between the constant noise, security concerns, lack of basic amenities, and unpleasant shower experience, it made for a very disappointing stay. I won’t be returning in the future.

Just back from a week in Marola Park Apartamentos. Absolutely lovely place to stay. Had to wait for our room to be ready but was worth it. It was lovely and clean, everything you need for your stay. Poolside was lovely and relaxing food and drink at the poolside cafe was so nice, and the prices was good also. I cant think of anything negative to say about this place. Would go back if in Tenerife.
