Overall we had a good experience in Tigotan. We have visited Tenerife regularly over the last 6 years and this year decided to book a comfort room in Tigotan. The hotel is in a great location, our room was spotlessly clean and our bedsheets and towels were changed daily. The room was small but nice, generous wardrobe with plenty of hangers, comfortable single beds pushed together and a nice modern bathroom. There was plenty of entertainment throughout the day and night with something for everyone. We found the sun bed selection around the pool fine, we put out our towels at 10am and had no issues getting beds. Breakfast was included in our stay which was nice, something for everyone you wouldn’t go hungry. The first night we were woken up multiple times to loud gushing sounds and banging in the walls which we then discovered was the plumbing pipes. This continued for our whole stay. The air conditioning in the room was not adequate for the temperature outside. When discussed the loud noises and air con with reception we were repeatedly told we had booked a comfort room and if we wanted to upgrade it would be at an additional cost. We had no issue with the room itself just the lack of air conditioning and noises causing the issue. We were told twice the air conditioning was fixed however it felt exactly the same as before. While I appreciate there is a tier or class system in the hotel I felt it was very enforced and we kept being reminded that we did not pay for deluxe room which felt as if we weren’t good enough or important enough to the staff to address our concerns with our room. After 3 days of complaining we were finally offered a stand alone fan for our room which helped. The 3 day slog of complaining could have been avoided if the fan had been offered at the first instance. Overall, we enjoyed our stay at the hotel however the issues with the air con and noises would put me off booking to stay here again.

Just back from the Tigotan , we have been there many times and I have to say this stay was probably the best we have had . The food was absolutely brilliant plenty of selection and presentation was first class,having said that we were there for Xmas 2024 and the food was not up to their usual standards as there was plenty of complaints however I believe they have turned it around as the food was superb. There is a lot of new staff who were absolutely lively and most helpful. Entertainment was very good and lot of effort has been put into getting good acts . All in all great hotel rooms very comfortable , modern . We went to the Santa Rosa has we had booked all inclusive the meal was excellent couldn’t fault it and the waitress was very nice. Booked again love this place.
