Ontvangst met een verfrissende drankje. Zeer vriendelijk personeel, Goed afwisselende ontbijt en diners. Attentie bij een verjaardag. Wisselende entertainment , zowel overdag als in de avond. Redelijke afstand tot het strand ca 800 mtr. Veel terugkerende gasten.

3rd time staying here & it will be our last. Hotel has declined rapidly in particular the food which was disgustingly. Chicken cold, no cheese for 2 days to make omelettes so they used Parmesan! Restaurant not as clean as previously & far too busy had to q for 20/30 mins to get food. Chef tried to give me a slice of pizza with his hands & no gloves on. Corridors rowdy & noisy at night shouting & music playing , the hotel has went downhill drastically we will definitely not be back & its not cheap either we made &4k for two week stay

On arrival we were given a room on floor zero that we hadn’t booked, we requested to be moved but were told the hotel was full. After a bit of lunch and time to think we agreed that this wasn’t acceptable and went back to the reception to say we wouldn’t be staying and low and behold a room type that we did pay for was suddenly available and we got moved. Apparently this happens all the time which really isn’t acceptable. The actual hotel is really nice and clean with great bars and pools where the only drawback is having to book and pay extra for the rooftop pool. We would return here but my advice to anyone going would be don’t book a comfort room with side view

This was our 3rd stay here over the new year period Lots of new staff and management and it definitely shown fair to say that will be our last time staying here Although hotel is nice and clear and in great location The food was like at a bad all inclusive and that was quite clear when in restaurant was always quite were previous years was hard to get seated real shame Other couples who we met previous years all were saying the same thing had a real great place and definitely on the downwards slope

Our fifth stay at this wonderful hotel. Thank you for a wonderful New Years Eve Gala Dinner and entertainment. Your team are a real credit to you and hats off to your new Director who has made such a positive difference - bravo 🙌 I can highly recommend and have already booked for next year . Just come back from staying at this amazing hotel and what a holiday it was. For reference we booked the ‘Romance Double Room Balcony/Terrace HB Exclusive Pool View’ so this included the ‘Exclusive Service’ which we didn’t realise until we got there. Firstly our room was stunning, have attached pics. So clean, modern, everything worked perfectly. Great view overlooking the pool. The hotel itself was outstanding amazing Xmas decorations, clean, the rooftop bar was brilliant along with the entertainment 10/10. I’d like to highlight the attentiveness and friendliness of the staff - every single staff member there was happy, always greeted with a smile, and happy to help with whatever. There was an employee named ‘Mon’ who was an absolute delight, we saw him in the morning and evening for breakfast and dinner. He was always smiling, always so polite and so friendly a credit to the hotel. I’d also like to mention the lovely blonde lady (didn’t get her name) who hosted the pool games - she made them so much fun and was great. There was a dark haired lady who I believed to be a manager - amazing service from her lovely to speak to. Another shoutout to ‘Lua’ at Cafe del Mar - fun, energetic, friendy service from him he was fab. Finally ‘Santiago’ at cafe del mar who was serving us while at the rooftop pool (also a stunning view and place to sunbathe sunbed included in exclusive service). He was so attentive and brilliant. The food at the hotel was 10/10 had a range of dishes and was all cooked to perfection so tasty. The sunbed booking system was easy to use, helped to avoid getting up silly hours and reserving you just had to go to reception day before and book a sunbed for following day - simple and sensible. Would definitely return to this hotel couldn’t recommend it enough. Thank you all ❤️

Great service and entertainment. Staff were super friendly. Hotel was clean and comfortable . We loved the bands in the downstairs bar and at the pool. We also enjoyed the aqua aerobics and the cycling in the pool. The gym was small but the equipment was good. We had a nice room overlooking the pool with a sunny balcony. Liked that you could choose your room for 25 euros. We also did some good trips organised by the tour lady in reception. Reason for 4 stars rather than 5 was the evening buffet. Food was mediocre- we stuck to the freshly cooked meat and fish and salads. We felt that the prepared dishes and veg were mostly unappetising. Breakfast was fine. There are some good restaurants in Playa so next time we would choose Bed and breakfast - not sure if that is available at the Tigotan.

I wasn't sure what to expect but was very happily surprised. At first I thought this was a retirement village (with over 70% aged 60+ and probably winter sun seekers) but I couldn't be more wrong as it had a young vibe about it. Not being big on tribute entertainment or in-house entertainment, even this was bearable. Gym was basic but useable. Sun lounger hoggers were rife but you saw staff addressing this daily. The hotel, rooms and public areas were very clean and cleaned daily. The beds were comfortable oillarge singles. Overall, it was very much attention to every detail. The variety of food was good - buffet style with the option of food cooked to order. Pre-cooked was often warm but there was a microwave. The only criticism was that the front line cooks sometimes (for non meat eaters) cross contaminated utensils and cloths. There was also a lack of non carb hot veg options but the food was plentiful and topped up. Generally staff were lovely. Professional, polite, friendly and helpful. I would recommend and stay again.
