Hotel Best Tenerife

If I was reviewing the staff only I would give 5 stars. The entertainment team and restaurant hosts could not be friendlier or more accommodating. Nothing was a hassle and the entertainment team with the kids, as well as us parents, couldn’t have made it a better experience. There is a shop within the hotel that has all the essentials and fun bits for the kids at good prices. All inclusive food is good, varied and fresh. The draft beer is good quality. 1 star less due to some of the facilities only. Our room was lacking storage space and we didn’t have space to unpack properly however only in the room to change and sleep so this is not a massive problem. Pool options are fantastic, one an excellent depth for the kids if they aren’t the most confident swimmers, with a deeper and shallower pools around. Sunbeds are an issue with towels reserving beds from very early and a smell of sewage sometimes passing through but not there all day. All in all, the positives definitely outweigh the negatives and we would love to return here again.

Nice little family break. Hotel clean, staff friendly, Animation team excellent with the kids and put 100 percent in everyday. Food was as to be expected with all inclusive, plenty of variety though. Drinks service was very helpful yourself.

We've had a fantastic week at the 'best' hotel! The little touches like our cases being taken straight away and delivered to our room made arriving with 2 young children so much easier! We had emailed the hotel to pay to upgrade to a family room and I couldn't recommend this enough - the room was very spacious with 2 separate alcove bedrooms and another living area. Our terrace went straight to the pool and bar and was a fantastic location - we were so close to the entertainment but never heard a thing. The room was also very clean, room was cleaned every day and left spotless. We were really impressed with how efficient it was. We were all inclusive and with 2 young children it was great. Breakfast had so many different options to suit everyone. We never tried lunch as we ate from the snack bar which was good - chips, pizza, burger, hot dogs, toasties and nuggets most of the time. Evening meal had lots of choice always pizza and pasta for the kids and then different themes. The only thing with this all inclusive style is that you often get people who don't queue or push in front for the last of something but I guess you get that in any all inclusive hotel - everything was kept replenished though as quickly as possible. We did eat out twice on an evening as we wanted to have a change from buffet style and as the hotel is in such a good location it was a 5 minute walk to the safari centre with a range of different cuisines - we tried the Indian and Mexican and thought they were both great. The BEST thing about the hotel is the staff I didn't meet anyone who wasn't friendly or helpful. The entertainment team are amazing - 5 stars!! A special mention to Margot who our boys adored. From the moment our youngest, Ronnie met her on the first night he was in awe. They went to kids club for arts and crafts and also enjoyed water polo and water games. The mini disco was the highlight of the day and the entertainment staff always chatted with everyone before it started. The boys were over the moon when Margot had them up on the stage for a certificate on our last night. Our entertainment staff did change over the holiday so I couldn't comment on the 2 new ones but Margot and Angel were consistent throughout our week and great at getting everyone involved. Angel even had my husband up dancing on the last night - a rare occurrence!! There are a few mixed reviews on here which I read before we went but I couldn't fault anything the hotel did and I am fussy!! Highly recommend and hoping to be back next year! We had a fabulous time at The Best Tenerife. In totally there was 20 of us celebrating my husbands 50th birthday. The youngest in our group was 3 and the eldest was 69, we all had an amazing time. We stayed for 2 weeks. There was a wide variety of choice at meal time for everyone 3 people in our group have gluten intolerance and 2 were picky eaters but we all found something to eat. The AI self service bar was great and it was well stocked with local spirits. We did also buy premium spirits from the bar at a discounted price for AI. The entertainment team did a fantastic job with the resources they had. - What could make this holiday better - More pool based activities - we did aqua aerobics everyday which was made fun by the entertainment staff but would have been even better of There had been other pool activities such as a water assault course, family water polo etc.
