Las Fuentes

We absolutely LOVED our stay at Las Fuentes. Perfectly located on the beach front at Los Cristianos, the apartment was clean and spacious. The balcony was just the best thing about the apartment too, comes with a table, chairs and 2 sunloungers. The wifi worked perfectly throughout our stay and we were able to rent a fan for the week, as there was no air-conditioning. We will definitely be returning!!

This was our first stay at Las Fuentes and we were given room OG. After arriving and accessing our keys from the safe box, we eventually found our apartment, which involved many steps down but we were happy with the apartment and even more happy when we seen the large terrace with table/parasol and 3 chairs plus 2 sun loungers with padded covers and the view of the beach. We were even more surprised to find a smaller terrace off the bedroom with table and 3 chairs. ** Word of warning, if you don't want to bang your head when going through the door onto the terrace remember to duck especially if you are over 5ft 7, as my partner found out twice!! ** If you're expecting everything to be perfect it's not. Sofa isn't the best. I found my bed and pillow comfortable but the other bed had a dip in it but my partner said it was fine. Chest of drawers in the bedroom is a bit wobbly. Bathroom is on the small side with lack of shelves but everything is functional and clean. Large lounge/ kitchen area is nice and bright with everything you need in the kitchen, don't know if the hob or microwave worked as we didn't cook anything but the toaster and kettle does. Sliding wardrobes don't have many hangers but plenty of shelf space with safe. Bedroom is bright with full length mirror, stool and tall chest of drawers. Bathroom lights aren't very bright. Plenty of lights throughout the apartment. The cleaners are really nice and do a great job. We stayed for 7 nights and we had the rooms cleaned 4 times with plenty of clean towels. The two reception ladies are very nice and helpful and we were allowed to checkout at 3pm as we were being picked up at 3:30pm. Going up all the steps became easier after the third day and there is a gate halfway, as a short cut for you to go down to the beach and promenade ( even more steps !! ) We would definitely stay there again but maybe on a higher floor !!

Amazing location!! Sea front view, in the middle of everything. Rooms were clean, and actually better than I thought given the apartments are only 2 star. Could do with better pillows! & the stairs… if your on the bottom floor (closest to beach) be prepared to lose some weight climbing those stairs everyday! The lady we spoke to at reception was absolutely lovely. We were also allowed to keep our room until 8pm as we had a late flight which we really appreciate! The man next door who I assume owns the bar was also lovely! He also helped us on arrival. Definitely recommended

2nd visit here, we love it, reception staff very helpful. Large Balcony with beds and table & chairs, plenty of space, fully equipped kitchen however the locations is perfect for eating out -close to Los Cristianos traditional vibe but close enough to walk to the party area, or if you can't be bothered to walk more than 2 minutes there's plenty of great restaurants, bars and a nightclub on your doorstep. The view is uninterrupted - beautiful sea view, the complex is one of the older ones which means it's solid and sound proof - on both stays we have never heard or seen or neighbours. There are a lot of stairs so if you have mobility concerns then email reception ahead of booking to get placed on the entrance level - this is the top of the complex - great views!

Reception is only open a few hours so if you are arriving early or late make sure your travel provider has given you the code to open the lock box next to reception. We weren't aware of this and so the bar owner next door had to help out. Turns out TUI had sent a message on their app but we didn't really use the app so not sure how we would have known otherwise. We had a room on the bottom floor right next to the beach. It was 50 steps down to get to it. No lifts so anyone with mobility issues beware. Great view though. The rooms are a good size but very dated. The furniture is worn, scratched and needs replacing. The cushions on the sun loungers were filthy and we didn't go near them. The floor on the patio needs replacing as the grouting is breaking up and can scratch your feet. The room does have a little kitchen area with a fridge which was useful. It is a bit noisy at night at the weekend as some of the local bars and clubs turn it up and being right next to the promenade means people walking past all the time. With no air con you need the windows open so light sleepers may struggle. TBH this was the cheapest place available by TUI so wasn't expecting greatness. It does need a refurb to bring it up to scratch but not all bad. The lady on reception was excellent and let us keep our room late on check out today without extra cost. The 50 steps back up carrying suitcase though aren't much fun!
