Vanilla Garden Boutique Hotel - Adults Only

Stayed here and the air conditioning never worked and we told them 3 times which meant our room was so hot! The food was awful for what we dare eat as there were loads of guest bad with sickness,so we ate out to be safe. The pool area was dirty with left over food and then there was cockroaches running abut! The WiFi was rubbish no matter where in the hotel you were. Such a shame as we really were looking forward to a relaxing break!

We arrived late Wednesday night and after reading reviews about the noise and TUI offering us the chance to change hotels we decided we would take the risk and we're really glad we did. The hotel is beautiful, the staff are all very friendly & helpful. The food is very good. The pool area is amazing and plenty of very comfy sunbeds available. We have hardly heard any noise from the construction work. We have a double room (127) which over looks the pool area and is spacious and the beds huge and are very comfy. The only downside is that there is no courtesy room available for late checkouts & those who are travelling back to the north east will most likely have a later flight (no choice with this). No queuing from sun beds there's plenty for everyone. If anyone was hesitant about booking this hotel, well don't be it really is a fabulous hotel.

We had a fab stay at vanilla gardens, perfect small boutique style adults only hotel. Central location to bars and restaurants etc. Everywhere is lovely and clean and cleaned regularly which is a must for us. Sun loungers are super comfy and pool a perfect temperature, yes there is building works outside the hotel but nothing they can do about this, once you get used to the noise you forget it’s there! Could possibly have some music around the pool during the day to maybe drown out the noise and for a nice chilled vibe not just the DJ at the weekends. Staff were all lovely and attentive throughout. Only thing to bear in mind if having a late flight is there is no courtesy room, but we managed to get late checkout and they are accommodating if they can be. All in all cannot fault our stay at the hotel.

Nice hotel, clean rooms, we only ate breakfast which was good with plenty of choice. There is building work going on next door, but this didn’t bother us at all. Very impressed that you could get a sun bed round the pool no matter what time you turned up. The area around the hotel is dirty, but not the hotels fault, it’s situated very close the Veronica *****, but we heard no noise in the hotel. The air con is very poor, we actually thought it wasn’t working. When I asked at reception one evening, the guy asked me to call back in 15 minutes, which I did…..he’d gone home for the night leaving the security guard who couldn’t help. I wouldn’t come here in the height of summer as the room would be unbearably hot.

Lovely Boutique hotel, stayed for a week. Was very relaxing, yes there is building work going on but a set of earphones sorted that out, didn't annoy us. Food was ok the breakfast was the best. towards the end of the week we did eat out a few nights. Hotel was clean and the rooms done everyday. Though a lot can be said for outside the hotel, the place looks like its never clean. (not much the hotel can do about this). The only bad points was - Mini bar - we didnt use it and ask could they not just empty it so we could put our own water and juice in it to keep it cold, But the lad said he couldn't, when checking out they tried to charge us for 2 bottles of fanta, and when said we did use the mini bar at all the guy was very nice and just took the 2 bottles of the bill. NO COUNRTESY ROOM- for a 4 start hotel you would think they would have a courtesy room for people with a late pick up. We went the day before checking out to ask about a late check out to be told, "come back in the morning at 9.30am and we can check for a late check out and if not you can use the courtesy room" We decided not to pay for a late check out and only use the courtesy room. So went to check out at 12 and then was told NO we dont have a courtesy room and the guy from the day before shouldn't have told you this!!!!! And if we like there was showers beside the pool (the pool Showers) we can use to shower in and a loo also to change in!!! Our pick up was 7.55pm. In the end a late check was sorted and we paid for it with a small discount. Over all great wee holiday veru close to everything and staff all very nice.
