Clean rooms, the shared areas are well equipped. The hostal is very close to the beach (less than 5 minutes). The pool is ok. They have a good number of bbq available for the guests. Very good signal of Wi-fi in all areas. 100% recommended. Very good prices.

You arrive and no one is there to welcome you. There is no reception. In the room there is no soap or hot water. Once you check out, you get the surprise of being charge on your credit card without your consent. Super sneaky management behind this very oddly desert hotel. Stay away from it.

Very nice 3 star resort!
Very cute, clean, comfortable 3 star resort. If you're looking for 5 star amenities, don't stay here. But if you're ok with a nice room, clean pools, they have 2, small outdoor restaurant, well manicured tropical landscaping, Las Catalinas Coronado is for you!

Las Catalinas Coronado was a very pleasant. The staff were friendly and were more then accommodating when it came to putting up with our lack of speaking Spanish. With the help of Google translate we both made it work. The room was small but nice and clean. There was a patio area with a hammock out from that was private and peaceful. The entire grounds were somewhat of an oasis and the pool area was private and had a kitchen area that was open to all to use. It helped we were there during the off season as there were only a couple of other guest there beside ourselves. It turns out we are not big fans of the Coronado area, but I would stay at the Las Catalinas again.
