Having already known the Rubicon hotel, it was a pleasure to return there, however the cleanliness was not up to par and the mattress was not the most comfortable

This was our second visit to the hotel. First the positives - the food in the main restaurant is excellent, fresh and varied at each meal and our sea view room was clean and well maintained. Staff were friendly. The negative - as others have commented, there are not enough staff in the restaurants, so you can easily wait 20 mins just to get a drink or have dirty plates removed. It's not the staff's fault, it's the management not having enough of them on duty. The same situation is found in the piano bar. My tip is to get in and sat down as soon as these places open, as it is easier to get the staff's attention. Whilst we did enjoy our week at the hotel, I think there are others in Playa Blanca that we will visit in the future.

Beautiful hotel. Very big. Lots of too. Lots of pools. Lovely to walk about and easy access to the coastal path. About 40 minute walk to Playa Blanca along the coastal path. With beautiful views over to Fuertaventura. The hotel is always clean. The food is lovely and always lots of it. The bars and great. Something for everyone.

Our 4th time at this hotel,and it’s just as good as the first time,and it won’t be our last. You cannot fault the accommodation,food and staff. To be honest I read up to date reviews on trip advisor and was a little concerned on some comments made. However all was just perfect yet again. Keep up the good work. Big shout out to Abdi Dadda in the bar works his socks off for you.

El hotel es muy bonito y en una localización privilegiada con vistas preciosas al Atlántico, Fuerteventura y el islote de Lobos. Muy buen servicio en recepción, botones y restaurante. Éste último bastante lleno, pero se esforzaban por que no faltase nada al cliente.

We spent a week at Rubicon Palace mid-Oct; the hotel is beautiful, friendly staff, fabulous grounds & pool area & the food was top notch especially in Dolce Vita & Sakura. The Hotel is a little outside the main Playa Blanca area but its a lovely walk in by the sea & it was very quiet at night which is what we wanted. Definitely on the list to visit again.

This is a lovely hotel and we enjoyed our stay. We read a lot of poor reviews previously but we did not really experience anything too bad. Having said that our air conditioning did not work, we didn’t complain to the desk as there were no biting insects at this time of year and with the balcony door open the breeze was enough to keep us cool. Maybe in summer it would have been a problem. Room 7069. Food was great and all 3 of the extra restaurants were excellent, IMO. There was always a bit of a wait in the evening for drinks and not all the waiters could take orders but only collect empties. Maybe all should be able to take orders and this would speed things up. But we still got served and the staff were very polite and helpful. Overall it’s a great hotel and we would stay again.

Lovely setting for hotel and 2nd time here. Unfortunately the hotel hasn’t met minimum standards this time. Issues with first room, asked to move when we arrived and told nothing can be done till next morning, waited 1.5 hours at night for someone to attend room then cancelled due to being let down. Was told next morning that we could move rooms at 8.30 went to reception and he guy made my wife cry being rude mad not listening. Finally got another room at 1700 after no sleep all night and no air con. Just a fan blowing minimal warm air around in second room. Wife won’t go back to reception. Not a great start to a well needed break. Too hot at night and very close to flying back early. It’s cooler outside than in your room. Not sure how they can sell as air con in rooms anymore.
