Villas Puerto Rubicon

Myself and my wife’s 3rd visit in as many years to these villas. This is my 3rd review and as stated before, these villas are always an absolutely fantastic experience. Everything you require is provided for and there is simply no better location for access to all that Marina Rubicon has to offer. We enjoy it so much that we intend on returning twice in 2025.

Second time staying at these villas, the location is excellent, so close to the marina, a supermarket is a 5min walk away and Dorada beach within walking distance. We stayed in a 3 bed this time, villa 211. It has everything you need, its not modern but everything is clean and working. We did have issues with ants in the kitchen, which maintenance came and sprayed but they kept coming back (it was very warm which could be a factor) so we bought our own ant killer and just kept spraying everywhere and keeping the kitchen spotless with no food lying around. A few things which brought it down - a two slice toaster for a villa which sleeps 6, one plug for the microwave, toaster and kettle so you can't use more than one at a time. thankfully we learned this from our last stay so we brought an extension lead with 4 sockets (life saver when trying to make breakfast for everyone!) The dials are totally worn off the oven, so its just trial and error, we couldn't get the grill on at all, so gave up with that. No instructions for the dishwasher so again, just closed the door and hoped for the best! They provide washing up liquid, scourer, some dishwasher tablets, UHT milk and a fruit juice. We brought our own clothes washing tabs, tea bags, coffee etc. We had a tiny utility section off the kitchen with two small washing lines which would only take a few items so I asked at reception if they had a clothes airer, within a few hours, they handed us a brand new airer still in the packaging which helped massively with 5 peoples washing, so thank you! All said we would still return again to these villas!

Just back from a perfect week. Villa was lovely, we had a 3 bed and was more than enough for us as a family of 4. Pool was great to cool down. Don't leave any food out anywhere tho as little bugs just appeared out of nowhere. We stored everything in the fridge. Location was within 5 min walk of the marina. We got a taxi into Playa Blanca a few times then walked back along the sea front. Playa Dorana beach is about a 10/15 min walk, only beach with sunbeds etc Ate at the restaurants in the marina in the evenings, lovely setting but book a table if you want to sit after about 7.30, they got busy!! Cocktails and ice creams at Lani's were delicious

I was pleasantly surprised by our stay at Villas Rubicon. While I understand the allure of ultra-modern spaces, the villas offer a charming and comfortable alternative. The décor may not be cutting-edge, but the cleanliness and functionality of the property were impeccable. The kitchen was exceptionally well-equipped, and the appliances were all in top condition. The pool, a generous 2.5 Belgians by 1.5 Belgians, was the perfect size for our family. The location couldn't be better, placing us within easy reach of everything we needed. Perhaps most importantly, the staff were outstanding. Their friendliness and helpfulness made us feel truly welcome. I believe some of the negative reviews might be a bit harsh. We had a wonderful time and would definitely recommend Villas Rubicon to anyone seeking a relaxing and enjoyable Lanzarote getaway.

Nice villa, it was very dated and could do with a facelift .We had some issues with the umbrella etc .But the manager in the reception sorted it out very quickly .It seemed nothing was too much trouble .it is in walking distance from the beautiful playa dorada beach . Beautiful restaurants and gorgeous marina .I would definitely recommend these willas .I travelled with husband and two teenagers . We had plenty of room in our villa which had three beds and three bathrooms .

An amazing family holiday. We stayed in villa 224, it was spacious, clean and well equipped. Bathrooms to both bedrooms was pure luxury! Having our own pool was excellent. When we went to reception, the staff were friendly and helpful. Lovely to have the welcome pack with tea, coffee, milk juice as we arrived late on a Sunday evening. Dishwasher tablets and washing powder also provided. The villas are so well placed for a holiday in Playa Blanca with everything you need in easy reach. A few people have mentioned lack of air con which, while it would have been an added bonus, the fans are sufficient so please don't be put off. Also, there is a courtesy room for guests if you don't leave until layer in the day where you can store luggage and take a shower etc. if you've been to the beach before you leave. You just need to ask Reception for the key box code. Will definitely return. Thank you Villas Peurto Rubicon - our first trip to Lanzarote was fabulous! As an aside, if you do visit, a trip to Timanfaya National Park is a must.

Was really impressed the villa was well equipped with everything we needed, washer, dishwasher, private plunge pool and a prime location. The gate broke while we were there and was fixed in half an hour it was quiet, the staff were helpful and we will be going again

We had a lovely stay in number 36! The villa was very well equipped with everything we needed. Beds were on the firmer side but perfectly comfortable and the main bedroom has a balcony and chairs that catch the last of the sun each day. Plenty of towels (pool as well as bath towels) which were changed every 4 days along with bedding. The pool was clean and refreshing without being too cold. Good parking and the location is brilliant! Rubicon Marina is definitely the more sophisticated side of playa blanca.
