Princesa Yaiza Suite Hotel Resort

As a family with two very young children we had a fabulous stay at this hotel. The whole hotel is very well run, relaxing and enjoyable. The only negatives: one of us had food poisoning for a couple of days and we think from the fish in the buffet. It is cooked live but before it is left to sit on a plate and seems to be at room temperature, same with the meats. This put us off having certain foods for the rest of our stay. Also with the buffet restaurants, staff are absurdly quick to clear your plates. Countless times we took kids to get ice cream etc and returned to find our plates cleared and dinner taken away. They really need to slow down on clearing plates, it made us feel rushed. The entertainment is poor - the kids minidisco is very repetitive and no creativity at all. The shows later in the evening were very basic and low budget. But I guess many guests arent choosing the hotel for entertainment so the hotel invest less into this aspect. The pool areas are fantastic and our kids had a great time. We found the main pool area with two small pools for toddlers the best. We visited the family block a couple of times but found it quite crowded. The aquasplash hour was pretty dull and staff failed to control some more boisterous children. The kids activity area was also quite flat - not the experience we expected from the website that makes a big fuss of this area. Overall we found the room excellent (suite), service very good and most of the food high quality, if a little repetitive. The whole complex is a pleasure to stroll around and the beachfront is really enjoyable to take in. Thank you to all the staff for an enjoyable stay.

We have been to this hotel many times, and it gets better every time. Its always clean and well kept. The chocolates on the pillow every night are a fantastic treat for the kids as well. i want to give a special mention to Carla and Nicole in the animation team who were absolutely great with my kids and really fun and kind to us. Also, Tony is in the restaurant, and Maykal the chef. These guys went above and beyond to help make our stay pleasant. And also, helped me with my Spanish, as I have been trying to learn this year. Also, 2 lads in Giovanni's restaurant went above and beyond to make our meal special. Genis and Moha Junior. Not forgetting Anthony the pool lifegaurd, who found our float that the girls lost round the pool! Plus he would also come over and say hello to us every day. All in all, it was a fantastic and we defo will be back next year. Thanks for all your great service and Nos vemos el ano que viene!!!

The hotel works very hard to survive the effects of of the pandemic. Still my favorite place to go, I hope they recover to their previous glory quickly.

Such an amazing hotel. Staff were so welcoming when we arrived. We were one adult and 2 kids and room B637 was perfect for us. Top floor overlooking views of pool and sea, stunning room. It was my birthday and hotel had bunting, fabric balloons and a birthday cake with candles. Such a lovely touch. Cannot fault the hotel whatsoever. Loads of sun loungers, people did reserve from 7am but there was never a shortage for anyone who chose not to reserve so early. Main pool area was divided into a pool for all the floaties which the kids typically used. The other salt water pool was quieter, water was lovely. Loads of showers and no problem changing towels throughout the day. The playa dorado beach was about 1 min walk across a pedestrian area. It was gorgeous, water so clear. Hotel is v central between village of playa blanca and rubicon area which is more up market. Food at hotel was fab, so much choice. Our favourite was the Italian. I can’t wait to go back to this hotel , I’d give it 1000/100. FAB FAB FAB

This is our second time at PY and I want to give a special mention to the incredible staff at Capitan Park. Our 7 year old daughter had the time of her life and made lots of new “teacher” friends and also friends with other kids. We found it so much better than Kiko last year, the afternoon workshop activities had great variety this year and the morning was so much fun. There seemed to be a lot more staff this year and they were all SO SO lovely. (The staff last year were amazing too but we felt the new system worked better.) There are way too many to mention and I would not like to leave anyone out but they were super nice and we were so sad to say goodbye. Muchas gracias a todos!! We loved the Mamma Mia and Candy Land shows this year. Our daughter loved seeing all the staff in the shows. The dancing and choreography was amazing and the team are so enthusiastic. They stayed back after the Mamma Mia show for photos and it was so special. Everyone here goes the extra mile and I would recommend Yaiza purely based on the fun at kids club. A huge thank you to the amazing housekeeping staff too who are heroes and deserve so much praise. They do an incredible job. Also thank you to the super service at breakfast in Hacienda and also in the auditorium at night. We also loved the gelato at the ice cream place below the pool and in our opinion the best cafe con leche here too. Thank you to the whole entertainment and Capitan park team. You made our trip so special. ❤️ Some constructive feedback- snack bar at kids club area should be open. All pools need more umbrellas and this would solve most issues of reserving beds. There simply aren’t enough umbrellas. Main pools could be a little less deep to allow those of us 5 foot 3 and under to stand comfortably lol Thank you Princesa Yaiza ❤️

5 star experience as always. Just home from a fantastic 2 weeks in the hotel, our 3rd visit. This really is the best family hotel in a fantastic location. So relaxed and friendly. The staff are what make it though. So many to mention! Carla in the animation team is just incredible. So friendly and kind. Always there with a friendly smile and so amazing at her job. Best yoga instructor ever!! Sous Chef Raul who is just so lovely and welcoming, to Gabriel in the restaurant/guest services, always so friendly and professional, there with a smile each morning. And all the staff in Don G’s restaurant and the ice cream parlour. I’ve never written a review that I know so many of the staffs names, but that’s testament to the amazing service they provide. Creating memories that our family will have forever. Thanks for a fantastic holiday, we’ll be back next year!! 🤞🏻🤞🏻
