Sandos Atlantic Gardens

Just back from a 4 night stay, with my wife.first time at this resort. We had a great time,lovely relaxing holiday.the food was good and so much to choose from, the staff really make this a special place,every one of them go out of there way to make sure you have a great stay. The gardens are well kept and pool area clean and tidy, always found loungers by the pools. Such a chilled vibe and without children it was bliss. Yes the rooms need a bit of an update, but to be fair the beds were comfy and the bungalow was cleaned everyday to a high standard. We only used the bungalow for sleeping as we were out enjoying sun and sangria.😁 I will definitely visit this resort again.all inclusive is great value. 👍

We have just returned from a fantastic holiday at Sandos Atlantic Gardens and have already booked to return next year, which will be our third time, because we enjoyed ourselves so much. Prior to our arrival we had requested the same bungalow that we had the previous year and on arrival the Reception team made our check in very easy and we were allocated the room as requested. The staff at Sandos Atlantic Gardens are amazing and the strong point of this hotel. The girls who clean the bungalows seem to work as a team and so you never really know who has cleaned your bungalow on any particular day, but that doesn’t matter as whoever it was does a first class job. The rooms are always spotless. In the dining room, again the staff are brilliant. The food is really good, lots of choice with one of the Chefs always in attendance, checking that all is well on the servery. Tables are cleared of dirty plates etc. and cleaned very quickly ready for use again. Two of the most helpful people in the dining room are Diego and Victor, infact Victor is like a human dynamo who never ever walks slowly and the most infectious grin you will ever see. There is entertainment every night in the bar, some excellent and others not so, but the bar is always in use with a good atmosphere and on most nights the dance floor will be in use. The barman is Mickel and again he is exceptional, a really good memory and never stops, serving drinks and collecting dirty glasses from the tables. Sandos Atlantic gardens is right on the promenade, so very easy access to Playa Blanca and the market on Wednesday and Saturday. If you feel energetic try walking up the volcano, an organised trip is held weekly at least once, led by one of the Animation team The big plus for me at Sandos Atlantic Gardens is the non smoking or vaping policy around the pool and obviously the public rooms. There are dedicated “smoking stations” which most people adhere to, but you still get the odd person hiding their vape when they are around the pool and having a sneaky puff! All in all if you prefer a quiet relaxing holiday then this resort is for you.

We knew this was 3 star when we booked but as we have been to sandos hotels before we thought it would be fine , and in lots of ways it is starting at the top the staff everyone one of them are very good friendly polite and helpful, the food is nice as we stayed for 3 weeks it did get repetitive but to be fair I have experience much worse food in 4 star . The bars are great run very well fast service if you want spirits you may like better then all inclusive you can choose to pay a small about extra , the things that let this place down are the bungalows ours had no wifi which had we known we would not have book here , the shower took me back to Greece 30 years ago !!! Ours had very little water coming out no pressure mostly not fit for purpose, the under sink cupboard in bathroom really needs throwing on a tip the white covering is falling off so is black yuk!!!! There is a curtain!!! On the shower yuk the cleaners that come in daily are miracle workers so the place was always clean special mention to cleaners for this the only good thing in bungalow are ok the beds very comfortable and changed sheets regularly as are towels changed but the towels are very rough with age sorry this is not a good review but this is my experience, obviously we will not return

Just back from another fantastic holiday at Atlantic Gardens and already booked trip 6 & 7. A small hotel which gives a personal touch. All staff very friendly, cleanliness is second to none. Majority of guests are great ( you always get one who hates it ) very easy to make friends, solo travellers are welcomed by staff and guests. It’s relaxing and if you want a quiet relaxing holiday, it’s for you. Well done Jose and all staff.
