Caybeach Papagayos

Wonderful place to stay and visit with friends. I had a great time there.

Just got back from caybeach and had booked a two bed apartment. Air con in every room no charge, loads of patio space along the three sliding doors you get to each room and living room. Massive apartment double bathrooms and a kitchen. serviced apartments.. Reception, maids and lifeguard, it's not a hotel so if this up your street I'd recommend booking as you will get sunbeds no matter what time of the day get your room cleaned and towels change without any fuss. Sat on our patio every night once up from the pool, great red wines and tapas can be purchased from the supermarkets and the chilled out vibes, sun setting looking at caybeach gardens and landscaping on the patio proper set the mood for dinner in playa Blanca, so many beautiful restaurants to choose from overlooking the sea. Tips for resort. Those who don't hire a car don't stress as the bus stops right outside on time everytime.. 4 adults 5 euros takes you straight into the thick of everything and you'll be joining a lot of people who get the bus.. We loved it going out them coming home got a cab.. Most I paid was 7 euros. I hired a car for the duration and it's worth it because the island is too beautiful to not go venture out.. So many natural places to visit and it's good for during the day getting into town to the beaches in playa flamingo, play Blanca... I'd recommend looking at play pappagyo beach you can only reach it by sea of dirt road and it's stunning. As all the reviews have stated you are a 5 minute walk to a few bars and restaurants and a supermarket but not really walking distance to playa Blanca Caybeach gets the thumbs up from the brown family we loved everything about our stay and the beautiful island of Lanzarote.

This was our second visit to Cay beach Papagayos. We were here last October and enjoyed it so much that we chose to return! We stayed in a 2 bedroomed apartment (3 of us). It was spotlessly clean and very spacious . There is plenty of storage in the bedrooms and the kitchen is modern. Some of the living room furniture is a little dated but was fine. We had 2 lovely balconies and 2 massive bathrooms! The pool area is peaceful with an abundance of sun loungers . There isn't a pool bar here nor a restaurant however you will never struggle to get a lounger by the pool and it's very peaceful. It's a short stroll to Hyper Dino (5-10 mins) and buses run every half hour from outside the main door to the marina and main resort areas though they are walkable. If you're looking for a peaceful holiday and enjoy eating out then we would recommend staying here!

Although the location was in a quiet residential area it very accessible by bus to the main town of Playa Blanca (bus no30 every 30 mins, €1.40 pp each way). There are a few bars and restaurants around but limited choice. A couple of supermarkets walking distance in either direction. The accommodation itself was absolutely fine, very basic but clean. We had a lovely patio area with a couple of chairs, sun beds would have been perfect! No facilities at all in the grounds which was a bit of a shame, in its hey day there would have been a bar, restaurant and shop but sadly all shut down. We went at the end of June and was fairly quiet so no problems at all getting a bed by the pool although not many parasols due to the wind I presume. No late check out available or anywhere to shower if you had a late flight which was disappointing. Overall great holiday, would I go back, probably not only because it was just too windy for me but obviously not the hotels fault.

If you want quiet then this is the place. No one talks. There's no noise apart from the birds. The place is exceptionally clean and well maintained. There's a supermarket and a few restaurants that are a few minutes walk. Playa blanca is a bus or cab ride, about 10 mins drive.

Stayed at these lovely apartments for five nights in June 2025, for a short break. The complex was very quiet when I was there and there was more than enough room at the pool to sit comfortably all day. The flats themselves were very nice and spacious - I was in a one bed upstairs flat and found it had a great level of privacy and was fairly well equipped. The ground floor ones are more open, and personally I preferred the upstairs for this reason. Some of the furniture was a bit past its best however this is me being very picky. It was all clean and perfectly useable. Staff were lovely. There’s no restaurant, pool bar or kids activities … actually a bit like staying in an air bnb but without it actually being an air bnb! The general area is extremely quiet. There were a few shops and restaurants within a few minutes walk, and the marina at Playa Blanca is about 30 minutes walk away. If you want a quiet break away, this is the place for you. If you want to be among all the buzz of the resort, it’s maybe a bit on the quiet side. Would recommend and would return again.
