We had higher expectations for Renaissance in terms of hardware and amenities. Hotel staff were very nice and helpful. Breakfast was good for the price. “Starbucks” is NOT a real Starbucks, just a counter service with a coffee machine. The staff in charge were not very professional and the machine was malfunctioned when I tried to make a purchase.

Overall the best part was the staff members who were able to get me through some tough situations throughout my brief stay. More Specifically I attempted to call down for towels from the phone in the room by the night stand yet the phone was out of order ….luckily I had my apple devices on hand so eventually housekeeping came through so whatever…but everything in the room was working fine! Only hotel I would recommend to anyone staying in Plantation area ,the room was very clean and situated in the front overlooking the pass and parking which was appreciated! Amanda, Luke , and Tanika , were all helpful and thank you guys for ensuring that I received a phone that worked , allowing late check out , and providing a new room for my 4day 3night stay!

I booked room but when i saw all the issues i backed out, but i read everything about the hotel. First the price...$140 a night not bad...BUT...as long as your not hungry...want to eat...its $25 for breakfast...who ever heard of charging addtl fee for breakfast...want to park your vehicle while there, thats half the price of the breakfast...so. its NOT $140 night! I wouldnt stay here if there was nothing else in area! Maybe I could understand if it was in uptown area in the heart of the action...its way out west close to an IKEA....WTF?

This is one of my favourite hotels. I won't stay anywhere else in South Florida! The beds are super comfortable and the bathrooms are roomy and great to use. The laundry room and gym are a great bonus. I wish I would have found out about them sooner! The thing with this business is some staff members are awful while others are fantastic. Jessica at reception is dedicated, kind, and caring. She goes out of her way to make your stay enjoyable. Tierra is efficient and friendly, and Ravon is always there to help. Adriana is a breath of sunshine in the morning and Alexandra always provides coffee and happiness to start your day! They make me feel like family!
