Planos Hotel

This hotel was fantastic. Don’t hesitate to book. The staff are all amazing. The hotel looks modern and very clean. The rooms are very spacious, clean and comfortable. The food is lovely in the hotel but if you want to eat out all the bars and restaurants are within a short walk. We will definitely be returning.

This is a special hotel. The staff are all customer centred. I felt their aim was ro ensure my holiday was good. Nikos, Joanna on reception were two extremely professional individuals who were helpful, welcoming, and genuine. The hotel was spotless and well maintained. The restaurant staff were great especially the lovely Ukrainian young lady on the bar. I recommend this hotel for families and solo travellers. The area is good and very clean and beautiful.

Just arrived back from Planos. What a lovely hotel, staff so lovely and friendly. Special mention for Johanna Nikolais on reception fantastic service. Victoria you make amazing drinks along side Theo. Beautiful people. To all the staff in the restaurant, thank you for looking after us so well and always with a smile. Food was delicious sometimes a little cold but plenty to choose from. House keeping also excellent. Yes pool cold but once you brave and get in it’s fine. We had a lovely room overlooking the pool which got the sun every afternoon. Yes you have to pick the best beds to get the sun, or just move it round with the sun which a lot did. Poor guy at night had to re position them. Note to guests just put them back when you go to your room !! We met some lovely people which is always a bonus. Hopefully back next year. Please can we have same room. Hope all the staff have a lovely break, ready for next year.

Had a weeks break in Sept 2024 as a package holiday and the hotel exceeded our expectations. Had a warm welcome from Nikola on Reception who couldn't do enough for us and was very helpful, friendly and had a good sense of humour. Our room was spot on, very clean and comfortable and there was a complimentary bottle of wine which was a nice touch too. The food on the All Inclusive was really good, there was a decent variety and the quality was one of the nicest I've had in a long time. Wine was also delicious and we have to give a shout out to Theo and Victoria on the bar for serving us with a smile and having banter too - you helped make our holiday. Also what I liked about the hotel was it wasn't too big or small, is part of a chain of hotels that you can use and for our week, it was mostly adults with only a couple of children which added to a nice, relaxing weeks break. Overall hotel exceeded my expectations, the staff were excellent and I had a great holiday so would recommend it others.

This is a nice small family hotel. The rooms are clean and spacious and cleaned every day. There is a free safe and I don't know its because we were all inclusive but the cleaning staff left a bottle of water every day. We had a upper pool view room which was ideal. As I said we were all inclusive and the food was very good. It is described as a world buffet so don't expect a selection of Greek dishes. Breakfast has the usual selection of fruits pastries and cooked food. Plenty to chose from. Ice cream available all day and is delicious. The pool area is very nice with plenty of beds and a kiddies.pool although there is a lot of chasing the sun in the late afternoon. It's only a five minute walk to a beach if you prefer. All the staff were very nice and friendly. If you are looking for entertainment you can use the hotel next door and the all inclusive drinks are transferrable. Overall a thoroughly enjoyable week.

Just arrived home after a 5 night stay at Planos. We were left a little gutted to say the least as we did not feel this hotel was a 4 star. The hotel is a lot smaller than I expected, dinner tables are right next to the pool and the rooms are also very close to the pool. The pool and restaurant had no atmosphere it was so quiet and all tables were very close together. The place definitely needed some music as myself and other guests were whispering which gave the place a very awkward atmosphere. Bar man was very sarcastic to guests and unbelievably slow poring drinks as he was to busy trying to flirt with the ladies on reception. Lady serving snack bar food and drinks was very sweet thou. Lady on reception upon arrival made a very awkward welcome and was clearly stressed so she came across quite rude. Rooms are a decent size but pictures show bedroom mirrors and we did not have one, there was only a small one in the bathroom. Bathroom had no surface space for toilet trees so we had to keep everything in our suitcase. Rooms could definitely do with new bedding, our bedding on arrival had blood stains on one of the pillows and holes on the edges of the quilt. Location is okay but in a quiet area with very few bars and restaurants but there is a few souvenir shops, it’s about a 25 minute walk to the other end where it’s a lot more lively with plenty of shops, bars and restaurants. Snack bar food was lovely with plenty of choice for everyone and breakfast buffet was enjoyable but a little cold. Evening buffet was your average all inclusive food, cold and random picky bits. Unfortunately wouldn’t return to this hotel but Zante has plenty to offer with stunning views and friendly locals.
