Food very poor, clean yes, no entertainment at all, no warning about the place is shutting down end of season. Certainly not 4 star 2/3 at the most. And the local tax 49 euro per week cos they class it 4 star wrong as I said 2/3 star nothing more to say certainly better hotel around.

Just spent 10 days at this hotel, read reviews prior to visit, some good quite a few bad reviews. On arrival hotel clean and welcoming, staff at check in friendly, explained everything we needed to know, room was ready, lovely clean ground floor room, free use of safe, room cleaned every day, with clean towels. Sheets changed three times during our stay, very pleasant hard working cleaning staff. Pool area, cleaned every day and water checked, pool bars excellent very good service, and good variety of snacks served throughout the day. Restaurant very clean, staff work very hard to clear tables, and keep all. Food areas clean, at times can be a little busy, but with a little patience, you soon be seated for your meal, good selection of hot and cold food different meals every day from breakfast, lunch, dinner, also good variety of drinks available, hotel in excellent position 10 mins walk to beach, 2 minutes to shop, restaurants bars. All you need in walking distance. We would like to thank all the staff at this hotel, for giving us a brilliant holiday, we would gladly return.

Just came back from this hotel I fully enjoyed my stay there the staff were nice and friendly food was okay we had no problem their are three swimming pools and the two pool bars they was a young lad doing entertainment like bingo general quiz and they was a singer on one night but I say the entertainment needs to improve the hotel is situated right in the middle of the shops and just a five minute walk to the beach there's a bus stop outside the hotel what can take you to Zante town and the marina it is amazing you have definitely got to go there the cleaners are in your rooms every day working hard

We've just got back home from a 2 week stay at Karras Grande. On arrival everything was good, we checked in quickly and were advised to leave our luggage in the luggage room as lunch was coming to an end. The food was OK to be fair although only warm. Our room 219 was on the top floor above reception overlooking the pool at the front of the hotel. We had sea views to the front and side which were lovely. The room itself was fine really, twin beds which were comfy enough, not any drawers, just a rack with a few hangers and a couple of shelves. Luckily we always bring our clothes on hangers anyway or it would have been a problem. The bathroom was very small with the shower over the bath and was very awkward to get in and out of because of a wall holding the shower door. Also the shower was fitted to the wall facing the shower door and so water went everywhere. Apart from that the shower head kept falling off as the bracket was loose, it was heavy too when it hit you. We did report it but 3 days later we had to mention it to the Jet2 rep. It was done straight away then, apparently it hadn't been logged in by the man on reception who we told. The cleaners did a great job of keeping everything clean, it was cleaned every day and you got lovely clean towels too. The cleaners were all lovely and friendly, always had a smile and greeting for you. Now to the restaurant. It's nowhere near big enough for the size of the hotel, we honestly don't know how they cope in peak season when it's full. It's hard to get around as the tables and chairs are all squashed together. The area around the buffet is too tight, you have the toaster, microwave, drinks machines etc all together and there's no room to get by. Things were running out all the time and not getting replaced. No red wine, no jam, no bread for the toaster etc. Sometimes the food was fine, there was mainly something to suit but it was always luke warm like it had been stood in the back for a while before being brought out. Luckily there was a microwave which we used each time, just 1 minute made all the difference. Some of the staff in there were a bit miserable too, just either standing near the back chatting or going through the motions. A couple of them were nice and pleasant and worked hard though. The A la carte restaurant which you get 1 visit per stay, whether you're there 1 day or 2 weeks or more, is OK. The food was fine although only 2 choices. The organisation is poor though, the place only holds about a dozen people and there's one waiter who does everything. He takes your order then has to go outside to the other side of the pool to a kitchen to get it and fetch it back. The pools were nice and again clean. The sunbeds were poor, most of them were broken, although there's plenty to go around. The bar staff were all really nice and friendly. The entertainment was lacking, just one young man who literally does it all. Bingo a couple of nights, a music quiz, a general knowledge quiz, Karaoke

This was my wife and I's 6th visit here, absolutely love it, we can't fault the place. Rooms are spacious and cleaned daily, food is always a good variety and choices with plenty of fresh fruit and salad. The staff are always polite and friendly and will always find time for a chat. We agree that the evening entertainment is not up to much and the drink choice is very limited but mainly because it is not branded. We went out most evenings because there is plenty of entertainment on the local ***** (this was our choice). Can't fault this good value for the money and will hopefully be back next year.

I believe in writing honest reviews and therefore I will list both good and bad points. Good points; clean reception, the room was ready and was spacious. There are plenty of plug sockets, plus a kettle and plenty of tea and coffee was provided. The bed was comfy and the aircon worked well. It could do with more hangers as there are only 8 in total. The room was cleaned well and the cleaner was the only one to ever greet us with a smile and good morning. The hotel is in a lovely position and close to all the bars and restaurants around. Plus a short walk to a lovely beach. We felt the food in the restaurant was good, it was always hot and tasty. Down side points; The staff were all miserable. In the restaurant, we often had to get our own cutlery, they didn't clear used dishes even when they walked past the table empty handed. This service is something that they certainly need to look at. Although the pools were cleaned by a robotic cleaner, the sides of the pools were dirty and needed a human with a brush to clean them. The sunbeds are well worn, some broken and not very comfortable to sit on. The shower in the bathroom was hit and miss and could either be very hot or cool. Plus there was a switch right behind the shower head! Entertainment was poor! We only saw the a la carte restaurant opened on a few evenings and food was brought across the pool area to be served. Not sure what it was like. Overall 3* is pushing it, although they'll charge you 4* environmental tax of 7 euros per night.

Hi We are into our 4th day at the Karras Grande resort Traveled with Jet 2 as a package The hotel is advertised as 4star Jet 2 say it’s 3.5 Well so far we are struggling to give it 3 star The welcome and check in was fine although one man at reception trying to check in about 15 couples You have to fill in your own check in forms and this obviously takes a bit of time Next= find your own way to your room although our room was in the main building and was easy enough The room itself was fine and looking out into a nice pool with a good sized balcony Twin beds comfortable enough Our bathroom was a bit on the tight side with a shower over hanging the bath the pressure was good It has a hairdryer although not very good and change of towels every day Room cleaned every day The in house restaurant is on the small side and not a lot off space between tables so a tight squeeze to get in and out most of the tables are set for 3 people tho The food in general could be better although I found something suitable most times we intend to eat out a couple of times anyway Drink is limited choice with no rose wine or proceco which we were surprised at The staff have been nice to us always served with a smile Location is good and lot’s of restaurants nearby Would we return sorry but no We are happy to be away for a week in the sun which we are getting I’m glad we didn’t pay a fortune cheers

Hotel clean and comfortable, food in buffet restaurant absolutely horrendous, poor choice, poor quality and staff who obviously dont want to be there. Drinks from the bars are not much better with poor selection available and what was available tasted awful, not even a slice of lemon available for a gin and tonic....

Nice hotel but food choice was a huge let down. Hotel staff very helpful. Tsilivi is a lovely resort to explore with a bus stop outside of the hotel to travel to Zante Town. I would definitely return but not to this hotel. There are some lovely restaurants and bars close by or you can get a taxi to the centre for €8
