Amazing stay
Wonderful apartment in a beautiful setting. Excellent pool and a lovely restaurant providing amazing food with spectacular views. Friendly hosts that provided a warm welcome.

Drove from Chania to Plaka and the Emerald restaurant for lunch. F abulous views, great outside eating area and a bar with a very attentive host. Six of us ate and everyone claimed their choice was the best. Obviously mine was actually the best ie four large stuffed mushrooms followed by lemon chicken and feta smothered potatoes from the oven. The others raved about the fava and mousaka but to be honest it was all delicious. If near Plaka this is a must try place. You won’t be disappointed..

My wife and I were recommended by friends to try the restaurant and the cocktails so we booked a room and stayed the night. The rooms are huge and are more like an apartment than a normal hotel room. Bedroom with a kingsize double, large living room, kitchenette and a bathroom / shower. You dine outside under a vine covered pergola with a spectacular view over Souda Bay. There’s an outside bar there too that serves great cocktails. The choice is endless as is the soft romantic music. There’s a choice of over 95,000 songs and Manolis, your charming host, takes requests. 😎 And now to the food. The stuffed mushrooms are exquisite and the fava one of the best, as is the mousaka. I had the lemon chicken with thinly sliced fried potatoes and feta cheese. Superb. Excellent house wine too so pluses all round. Manolis and Emerald are great hosts, are multi lingual and know how to make their guests feel at home. Definitely recommended…

Το ξενοδοχείο είναι σκέτη απόλαυση,τα δωμάτια καθαρά και τακτοποιημένα, το φάγητο σε λογική τιμή και νόστιμο και το προσώπικο ευγενικότατο. Είναι τοποθετιμένο σε ωραία περιοχή κοντά στα πάντα. Πραγματικά 5 αστέρια.

Our second visit here. Gorgeous, small hotel with the most amazing views, Clean and quiet with a wonderful pool and the most lovely staff. 5 mins to Plaka and a 10-15 min walk down the hill to Almyrida. Look no further, this place is amazing!

Heavenly fortnight . . highly recommend . . spectacular sea views from tranquil mature gardens . . friendly staff in a laid back setting . . we had the holiday of a lifetime . . car necessary but village and coast amenities are close . . look no further

This little hotel tucked away on the edge of Plaka has the most amazing view. We went up there for a drink and just sat looking dow across the bay to Almyrida and across to the Akriotiri peninsula. So we decided to go back for a meal and that was well worth it too. Theres a lovely pool
