DO NOT GO HERE VERY SCARY PLACE-NO MANAGERS OR SECURITY ON DUTY THIS PLACE IS DISGUSTING!!!!!! On Sunday August 24, 2025, at breakfast I was verbally assaulted and threaten with bodily harm by another guest. I was being called a pedophile over, and over again at breakfast for wearing a shirt of our President. This guest threatened me with bodily harm. I left my breakfast and along with my husband went to see the manager about checking out, NO MANAGER ON DUTY NO SECURITY. I was crying and shaking and the Man behind the desk told me to CALM DOWN!! are you kidding me. We waited 1/2 no manager, we gathered our things and about a 1/2 hour later, still no manager, no apology NOTHING. I advised the man behind the desk I wanted a full refund, he assured me that would be taken care of, as of today, no refund, no call from management. I contacted the bank and filed a dispute. IF THAT IS NOT BAD ENOUGHT when we checked in we went to the bar for a drinks, the women behind the bar was 70ished, she overwhelmed and could not handle the 8 people at the bar. As I was speaking to my husband she chimed in that she "was doing the best she can" I said ok, I was just talking to me husband. This bar had NO A/C, NO COOK, NO MUSIC. EVERYTHING WAS DOWN AND THE COOK CALLED OUT. WENT TO THE OUTSIDE BAR, NO BARTENDER, BUT $1000.00 OF DOLLARS WORHT OF ALCHOL LEFT OUT AND UN-ATTENED. THE PLACE IS OLD, RUN DOWN AND SEEDY AS HELL! THE PICTURES LOOK NOTHING LIKE THIS PLACE. I HAD TO GIVE 1 STAR BUT ITS NOT

A Shame - Have Been Here Before - One Year Ago - But, Sorry to say "The Woodlands Inn has taken a turn for the worst" since that time- Seems since new ownership things are not as they were - Perhaps because new owners are not involved day to day and a good number of the staff do not have what it takes to make you feel welcome - Room = Dated, A/C not working, shower not able to control the water temperature (was told mixing value needed to be replaced) - Room overall poor - Indoor pool not available (Under repair). Do not go by the photos online - False representation. Tried speaking with management but never got back to me - Also phone system not working for weeks - So making reservations and trying to follow up very annoying - Simply put - "Overall could not care less about you!" - Best to look elsewhere for your stay. in the area - Unless of course you enjoy disappointment.

Stay anywhere else. As recently as a decade ago, this property was a premier destination. We stayed in August 2025 in the hopes that it would age gracefully, respectfully. Sadly, there was no part of the property that was pristine. Everywhere we looked there were signs of disrepair: wallpaper peeling with mold near the ceiling; heater covers dented & rusty; the indoor pool was dimly lit, cold, & cloudy; bar stools torn; outdoor woven chairs unraveling; many of the decking boards splintered; hot tub was not working; the phone system was down for both days we stayed. I could go on. The few friendly staff we encountered were resigned to shoulder shrugs to indicate they were trying their best with what that had. We'll never go back. There are too many newer & nicer, older hotels to choose.

Me and the wife went on superbowl couldn't even watch the game in room was in Spanish nobody new how to put on English. Went to the pool there wasn't any towels I had to go to the room.went called and requested new towels was told they would get me some never did when u need something u went to front desk the employee were on there phones 99.9% worst experience ever

The hotel itself is nice. the incompetence of some of the staff at the front desk is next level. booked a block of rooms for a wedding and when family and friends would call to book a room they were consistently told they couldn't find the name and date of the block. not exaggerating as this happened at least 10-20 times. i had to repeatedly call there to speak with someone to straighten this out and then had to ask my guests to call back again. When i would ask for a manager to call me back they never would. not sure how common this is there but i would never book there again.

Terrible experience again. Thought the first time was a fluke but I was wrong. Broken doors, etc. front desk was mad at me for the door not locking. Imagine? Not night front desk, but morning ( Johnathan)
