Residence Inn Indianapolis Plainfield

Checked in front desk didn’t get the memo about being nice. The room was big, mostly clean cracker laying on the floor. Quiet room. Pool was down for maintenance on arrival, open the next morning. Breakfast hot and typical free hotel fare. Do not like all outdoor spaces are smoker friendly, especially both sides of front entrance, and you walk through a cloud of smelly cigarette smoke.

I brought my 13 year old daughter and some friends for a birthday celebration. The rooms were very nice and spacious. Loved the kitchen areas, made cake and snacks and cleanup easy. Everything was clean and front desk staff was super.

Wonderful place to stay! Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. It was nice to have things to do within walking distance and an easy drive into downtown Indianapolis.

Pros: Newer hotel south of IND airport. Room was not large but well laid out. Bathroom lighting had a bright and dim option which is nice for middle of the night. Between bathroom and bed area was a mirrored alcove with a quartz countertop which fits a small suitcase. In the living room area was a very wide desk, next to outlets and a mirror which is where I did my hair and makeup while my husband showered. You could comfortably work remotely. Small but complete kitchen with a full size fridge. Breakfast was limited but better than average (fruit, yogurt, toast, cereal, eggs, breakfast sandwiches, but no potatoes or bacon/sausage). We stayed here because it was IU graduation weekend in Bloomington and this was a 45 min drive to but a significantly better value than anything near campus without the parking hassle. Walked 2 min to Stone Creek Dining Company for dinner. Several other restaurants within a very short walk. Cons: Nothing major. Wished there was bacon or sausage at breakfast, but otherwise great experience.

Love it here! Always love staying at the Residence Inn hotels, no matter which state. The only issue that i had was there wasnt a hot tub or basketball court. Most of them ususally have this amenity. Breakfast was hot and ready on time. The check is was literally 10 minutes. Staff were super friendly. Had a late check out which is always great.

Great hotel and location The hotel was beautiful and it’s in a great area close to the airport with plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. I believe it is only about 9 months old. The room was very comfortable and well organized. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The only thing that needs some work would be the included breakfast, as it lacked in quality - especially the kind you would expect from a Residence Inn. Overall though, I would highly recommend this property.
