We booked a room the same day in the morning and called hotel to inform we would arrive late in the evening. We checked in around 10 pm. The room was dirty: swatches of hair in the shower, dangerous broker glasses on the floor and the best surprise was a "big evidence" of defecation in the toilet. Never thought it was possible such a lurid thing. I did not complain, it was late and I was tired but I want to leave this review for improvement to the owner: please, don't treat people in such a bad way. View from the pool is great, breakfast is good, but the sanity of the room was unforgivable

We stayed at Amazones Village Suites for a few days and had a truly wonderful time. The hotel has a beautiful view and the location is perfect, peaceful, yet close to everything you might need. Our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with all the amenities. The staff were exceptionally friendly and always willing to help, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Breakfast offered plenty of choices and was served in a lovely setting. We would definitely choose this hotel again for a future trip!!! 😀

We had a 1 bed twin room in the annexe, which was a 2-3 minute downhill walk from the main resort. Our apartment was roomy and had a fridge, kitchenette and a decent desperate bathroom. Cleaners came daily to replace towels, bedding and loo roll. Our room had stunning views of both the mountainside and the coastline. The resort pool was gorgeous, with beautiful views across the coastline, and amazing service for drinks and poolside snacks all day long. The cocktails we had in the evening were also delicious, and overall we had a great stay. We’d love to come here again!

3rd time staying here. Brilliant value for money. Beds comfy, aircon good, pool are and bar area are great. Plenty of places to eat nearby and food and drink at the hotel is good. Staff all very friendly as always. Will be back.

We recently returned from a lovely stay at Amazones Village Suites and had a fantastic time! We booked a garden view suite, which was spacious, airy, and very comfortable. A quick tip -if you're booking through EasyJet, make sure you select a suite and not the annex to ensure you are staying in the main hotel! The pool area was great, and our kids absolutely loved it. The views were stunning, especially around sunset, and the location was perfect within walking distance to the charming villages of Old Hersonissos, Piskopiano, and Koutouloufari. Each one had its own charm and plenty of authentic Greek tavernas to explore. We also had a fun night at My Bar, which is great for a bit of karaoke. The manager and staff were incredibly kind and helpful, and we met some lovely regular guests who made our stay even more entertaining! We’ll definitely be back! Crete is absolutely beautiful, and Amazones Village Suites was the perfect base to enjoy it!

What a lovely hotel!! The rooms were more than satisfactory despite previous reviews ( it’s Greece !!!) The staff and its owner George were just magnificent and couldn’t do enough for you . The pool was lovely and my only gripe would be the amount of sunbeds available for the amount of guests but there simply isn’t room for more . The breakfast was more than adequate with lots of choice . It is up a hill so wouldn’t suit people with mobility issues. The climb back up is challenging but adds to the charm in my opinion and the views it offers as a result are stunning. A lot of guests were on return visits and one person was on their 5th. I can see why people return and will certainly be doing so myself ❤️
